I've found masturbation is a good cure for it. I had my first nocturnal emission at 14, shortly before I began masturbating. After I started masturbating, it was years before I had another one.

Re: does castration stop wet dreams?
In my entire life, I have had exactly zero wet dreams. I have also never seen one slight sign of precum from myself... ever.
Now, I am not castrated. I just have pretty darn low testosterone. My highest reading is in the lowest range. I have had some discussions that lead me to believe that my situation has resulted from some possible nerve damage I may have suffered. I don't really know for sure which is to blame. Probably some combination of both.
I do still get the occasional erection while I sleep, but no nocturnal emissions have ever resulted.
I have however had a few dreams where I feel as if I am having an orgasm. It was so powerful and intense, that I actually woke up from the sensation. Checking myself over however, revealed no extra fluids in my pajama bottoms. So that doesn't really count as a wet dream.
Getting back to your question, will castration stop wet dreams? Probably. If you let yourself drop in hormone to the castrate levels and stay there. If you are taking replacement hormones though, probably not.
Just my educated theory.
Anyone else?

Re: does castration stop wet dreams?
I've never had a nocturnal emission either but since starting antiandrogens I quickly stopped having any kind of emission at all which would pretty much make it moot. I imagine if castration had come first for me it would have achieved the same, but I know everyone is different in this area. I feel in most regards the cyto I was taking before was more effective than the later castration plus the saner dose of cyto I was taking until recently.

Re: does castration stop wet dreams?
I used to have frequent wet dreams since I did not figure masturbation out until I was 15. After castration and since I am not using T it is rare for me to have any ejaculate. I still have erotic dreams and some cause orgasm. I had a very erotic dream night before last and I woke up before orgasm. I did need to take matters to hand.

After castration..
For me, I never have erotic dreams anymore; in fact, it is now impossible for me to think about any sexual fantasies, even if I try to have them. I can think about anything except sex, hard as I might try. It's as if that part of the brain no longer works for me.

I personally never had a wet dream, but I was masturbating every night form about 11 to 12 years on and after getting married sex every night until low testosterone (HRT did not work for me but it just raised my PSA). I have Hypogonadism now, no masturbating, no woody's, no emissions but for trying to raise the sea level.

That is how I thought it would be for me. It was my main reason for being castrated. While I still have fantasies and dreams the lack of T has killed the drive to fulfill them. I changed in unexpected ways so while some changes happen to many each of us has a unique ride after castration.

Wow, i hope it stops wet dreams for me too! i can't stand them, and they leave me feeling drained and irritable & with a headache next day.
