17 months as a eunuch
And I really appreciate the loss of most of my testosterone-induced aggressiveness.

Your picture really looks nice, you look like a very calm, down to earth guy. Were you like this before the surgery?

I was most definetly NOT calm and down-to-earth before my castration. I was over-active sexually. I was prone to bursts of violent temper, road rage, and other manifestations of testosterone induced aggressiveness.
As Dr. Spector said on his older website ( now defunct), "In either the case of TS or eunuch, a deep calm serenity develops which from then on makes life far more worthwhile."

BTW, How has the estrogen treatments been working for your hot flashes? Have you noted any side effects from it's use? eg..mood swings or feminization beyond the normal castration effects.

When I went on 1.25 mG/day of Premarin, the hot flashes were cut in half as far as duration and intensity go. A couple of weeks ago we increased this to 2.5 MG/daily, and the hot flashes have stopped entirely.
I already had mood swings, as a eunuch, long before starting the estrogen, so no change there. As far as feminization goes, my breasts are tender and MIGHT be starting to grow. However, I do not regard gynecomastia as any big deal. I do not embrace it, I do not get upset over it, I simply accept it as the price to be paid to be freed of the hot flashes.

Re: 17 months as a eunuch
You would be surprised how nice life is outside of L.A. Your road rage would have gone away without cutting off your nuts. Your temper would not flare and you could have saved your nuts again. And that aggressiveness, once you were away from the crowds of Los Angeles, again, you could have saved your nuts...
Cheer up Andrew, you paid good money to Dr. Spector for that "Eunuch Calm" and you sound like you're happy.
Best of luck in the coming months/years.
As always (born in Torrance and raised in O.C.)...
I have my doubts that leaving LA would have done anything for my over-active libido. For that, I needed Dr. Spector, not a change in scenary. The Eunuch Calm is a nice thing, and again I have grave doubts that just moving out of LA would have the same effect.

I too was born and raised in LA, left there 30 years ago for all the same reasons Robby mentioned. I dont even like visiting Southern Calif. To many people from some were else, it was a nice place for us natives but to damn many foreigners fucked it up.
Oh by the way I am an 8th generation Californian. My family arrived about 100 years before the 49ers came and made it a State in 1850.
Yes it was a nice place before foreigners came.
