Where's My Damn Blizzard?

According to the forecasts and the bloomin' radar, I'm up to my butt in snow!

And I haven't seen one single flake.

The radar is a colorful mess.

All hell was supposed to break loose at midnight.

Where is it?

The radar lies. There's nothing here, weatherwise.

Frustrating, isn't it. It's colder than Christian Love here but nothing but the usual drought ridden ground covered with the suicidal lawn. We, too, were promised many things, including a White Christmas, but the National Weather Service, the Prime Promiser ran a quarter back sneak and loused up Christmas in places not usually accustomed to snow. Like Dallas.

It missed us too so far this year and we are in a traditional snow belt area.

We have a flurry with a bit of wind.

I'm not impressed.

However, any snow is enough for the boy to use his new sled!

I'm forecast to be right in the heart of it... up to 10 inches of snow is predicted, with wind gusts of up to 40mph possible along with it. Cleveland is under a blizzard warning until tomorrow morning at 7 am. However, the absolute heaviest of the snow is supposed to be about 50 miles to our south in the Canton area. But it's still supposed to be pretty ugly up here by mid-day.

The snow has not started yet, but the radar shows that it's coming... only about 20-30 miles to my southwest.

Hi everyone, I have at least 8 inches of snow on the ground right now and its still lightly snowing. I am in southern illinois. Paolo unfortunately this storm is to far south to get any of this one. i used to live in Marinette Wis for 10 years, so I loved the cold and the snow. Its a wonderful day out, my kids have had my grandkids out in the snow already and they had a blast playing.

Snow's started! I'm all stocked up and ready for whatever winter can throw at me, so I'll be inside warming up with some hot cocoa while I'm enjoying the wintry show outside.

And yet another apocalyptic prediction "here" fails to materialize.

All day yesterday, they were yelling about it being the end of the world, no travel orders, closing businesses, etc.

My county in Central Ohio is under a Level 2 snow emergency. I am not impressed. Blizzard conditions never happened. My wine rack is stocked, thanks Santa, so I am ready for anything.

I don't know about you, but I am looking a 6" of snow in my driveway and the highway south out of town has been closed so I am probably working a "16" tonight...

Did "the force" build a dome over your place or something...? Or is mother nature just afraid of getting "BANNED"?
