The Improved: You Heard It At EA First

Post by moi621 (imported) »

I just heard on NBC News: the Pope has pardoned

Paolo Gabriele 2 months into his 18 month sentence by church court ;)

for his role in VatiLeaks.

I wonder 💡

Why a "church" needs secrets ? ?

Further, his benevolence has committed to helping Paolo Gabriele

find new employment outside the Vatican, of course.

You Heard It At EA First!

Quoted because I'm not going to comment, but I want to comment on the fact I'm not going to comment ;)

Glad they've pardoned him at least!

I found out last night Fred the Weatherman is being done for child sex offences :( Jimmy Saville was so obvious but I'm pretty upset about Fred. He seemed like such a lovely guy.

He even has his own Wiki page

None can be more honorable or a better weatherman then Dr. George Fishbeck - - R.I.P. a good man.

He was a legend for a certain generation in the UK. It's such a shame. There's nothing on the wiki page yet but here's a news article - http://www.guardian.co.uk/uk/2012/dec/2 ... red-talbot.

I seem to remember that school firing their headmaster over child porn about ten years ago. Either they're particularly good at making allegations there or they had a serious problem and I think it was probably the latter :(

Never had the pleasure of seeing him. RIP and hopefully from a time TV had less skeletons in its closet :(

Gabriele stole personal papers of the Pope. These are "secret" for the same reasons your personal papers are secret.

If I were Pope I would not have secrets. Transparency goes with any "churchy" job.

What isn't clear is how the behind the papal throne power struggle, of which this was just a small part, is turning out. Remember, the butler was supposed to be trying to counterbalance pressures from groups that he thought were using the Pontiff.

It's the Jesuits I tell ya

And you heard it at EA First.

Search "The Black Pope"

This is not a derogatory term. It refers to the "Pope" of the Jesuits who wears black.

I truly believe The Jesuit interest poisoned Pope John Paul 1 because he was going to clean up the Vatican Bank.

Solution: Deal with the Jesuits as the Templars were dealt.

Bring back the Franciscans and the Sisters to influence.

That's how Moi sees it. It was thoroughly discussed with my ex-Alter Boy buddy who was not abused.

Arrest them, subject them to torture, sieze their assets, (including 28 US universities) and burn them at the stake. Like de Molay, the Black Pope could call out for Moi to join him before the throne of God.

As for the leaders of the Order, the elderly Grand Master Jacques de Molay, who had confessed under torture, retracted his confession. was declared guilty of being relapsed heretics, and was sentenced to burn alive at the stake in Paris on 18 March 1314. De Molay reportedly remained defiant to the end, asking to be tied in such a way that he could face the Notre Dame Cathedral and hold his hands together in prayer. According to legend, he called out from the flames that both Pope Clement and King Philip would soon meet him before God. His actual words were recorded on the parchment as follows : "Dieu sait qui a tort et a péché. Il va bientot arriver malheur à ceux qui nous ont condamnés à mort" (free translation : "God knows who is wrong and has sinned. Soon a calamity will occur to those who have condemned us to death"). Pope Clement died only a month later, and King Philip died in a hunting accident before the end of the year.

Sounds reasonable to me.
