Castration and penectomy in Thailand
Read the letter there:
http://tribes.tribe.net/nullos/thread/d ... 8994d3ebc1
The surgery prices are as follows:-
1. Orchiectomy (simple Castration) 40,000 Thai Baht
2. Orchiectomy plus removal of the Scrotum 60,000 Thai Baht
3. Penectomy 40,000 Thai Baht
4. Penectomy and relocation of the 'Pee Hole' 71,500 Thai Baht
5. Penectomy and bilateral Orchiectomy 70,000 Thai Baht
6. As 5 plus the relocation of the 'pee hole' and
construction of Labia Majora (Outer lips) 97,500 Thai Baht
7. As 6 plus the construction of a vaginal canal 150,000 Thai Baht
8. As 6 plus the construction of Labia Minora
(Inner lips) and a sensate clitoris 145,000 Thai Baht
9. SRS as 8 plus penile scrotal inversion vaginal canal 210,000 Thai Baht
10. SRS 2 as 8 plus a colon segment, vaginal canal 310,000 Thai Baht
Option 9, SRS Inversion, has a depth of 4 or 5 inches and depends on the amount of skin available for its fabrication.
Option 10, SRS Colon segment has the advantage of a depth of up to 11 or 12 inches and it is self lubricating.
It is the nearest to a natural female vagina that is possible to be made by man.
It is important to note that you should not consider steps 1 to 5 as a step to full SRS inversion, as the skin from the penis/scrotum is required for the construction of the vaginal cavity. However, it is possible to insert a Colon segment vaginal cavity at a later date.
Our surgeon is one of only 2 surgeons in Thailand who offers the construction of a Labia Minora and sensate Clitoris in addition to the labia Majora, as part of Sex Reassignment Surgery.
The outwards appearance of steps 6 to 10 is the same, in the standing position.
The prices quoted are inclusive of surgery, all medical staff, and medicines plus stitch removal. Additional costs are for pre surgery blood tests and chest X-ray and, of course hospital stay.
The price for hospital stay is 5,000 Baht per night for a private air-conditioned room.
The tests are relative to the patients age and medical health. The cost of these tests is between 3,500 and 5,000 Baht.
The recommended length of hospitalisation is as follows -
Procedures 1 and 2 can be undertaken on an outpatient basis, but we recommend 2 days in hospital.
Procedures nos. 3 to 8 between 2 and 6 days depending on recovery rate.
Procedure no. 9 5 to 7 days.
Procedure no. 10 7 to 10 days.
The times for hospitalisation is only our recommendation. You are, of course, welcome to stay at the hospital for as long as you like, or leave as soon as you feel well enough to do so, that is why we do not include hospital stay in the price.
The price also includes our personal care package, which no other hospital offers. This is that my wife and I personally supervise you prior to your surgery and are with you in the recovery room for at least 1 hour to supervise your recovery. My wife is a fully qualified emergency care nurse and she will make sure there are no medical problems. I will also be there to ensure there is no language problems when you are at your most vulnerable and to add authority to any requests
you may have. In addition, for packages costing more than 120,000 Baht, we will provide you with an English speaking companion, as soon as you are transferred to the ward. She will be in addition to all the normal nursing staff, and will be with you for 24 hours and 48 hours for options 9 and 10. She will look after all your small problems, such getting a drink, putting on and off lights and TV, getting an extra pillow, blanket or magazine. Massaging that aching leg that has gone into cramp because you have to lie still for so long and making sure that you are happy with everything and everyone understands what you require. She will be able to contact me immediately if there are any problems. In addition, I will visit you at least once every day and bring you anything that you need.
Most of all you can feel safer because my native tongue is English, so no misunderstandings at consultations or with aftercare.
We recommend that you stay locally for a further 2 to 3 weeks for the follow up treatment, if possible.
We do not provide accommodation during this time, but can help you with booking this.
In addition you will be met at the airport and we will provide transport to and from hospital for all follow up treatment.

Re: Castration and penectomy in Thailand
Simple Orchiechtomy I suppose means through scrotum. Videos I have seen, they never remove enough of the cord.
I'm holding out for professional Orchie to have them removed thru the groin, with as much of the cord removed as possible.
Might require overnight in hosp, but if done well, and with luck could be outpatient like a double hernia. A painful big double hernia.

I'm holding out
You should be able to go home a few hours after surgery and the recovery is not all that bad. The hardest part is getting up from a prone position for a few days. Healing seems to be quicker, with less chance of complications and no remaining cord to give you trouble afterwards. If you have a choice, inguinal is the preferred way, in my opinion.

Re: Castration and penectomy in Thailand
Thailand has been doing this for several years, the real cost is getting there, but if you have the time and money this is a great way to do it, plan to stay a few extra weeks and see the country, its very beautiful and worth seeing.

I just did a Google search for "Thai Baht exchange rate." I found that one Thai Baht equals 0.03 dollars. That means that 4,000 Thai Baht is $120.

I did similar calculations for euro. 40,000 Thai Baht = 1009 euro (it's 40,000, not 4,000)

(Converted from Thai Baht to US Dollars: )
3. Penectomy - $1,304
6. Nullification
7. Option #
8. Option #
9. Option #
10. Option #
I don't know if this place is legit or not, but man, I must admit that these prices make it sound very tempting. Maybe some day when I no longer have to worry about reproduction, sex, or what my parents would think. You know, it's actually kind of scary to think that I could actually do it if I wanted to. It begs the question, if I had the money, and the opportunity arose, would I really do it?

I've seen that price list before. Has anyone actually contacted anyone from the Samui Clinic? It just seems to good to be true.

Take a look here:
http://www.whatclinic.com/urology/india/orchiectomy ,

...
Perhaps the "first aid" is an intratesticular injection of alcohol?
