I just learned about this site. It's so useful I thought it was worth posting about.

USA.gov is a guide for the public to the US government. It provides an easy way to find information and services made available by the government, find agencies, and contact the government. Few people today would not benefit from having all this information in one easy to use site.

I have setup an account at Social Security. You can look up your benefits ,or get a statement of your earnings or future benefits. Just be sure you are at a dot gov site. All kinds of Information can be obtained. You can e-mail the White house.
