Why can't there be a diagnosis for the sweet quiet complient cautious and careful child that get's neglected and is also picked on by aggressive peers searching for a reaction, and that also never gets injuries which further draws less attention. And that's not techniquely female.
Aespergers is getting renamed. That was the point. MDMM or something like that. Scroll up for the answer.
For all these "soft neurological" diagnosis where no one fits and there is always mixed type
I suggested the diagnosis be dropped for "descriptions". Even dyslexia is too big a group.
There are those who see letters backwards and the like (not me)
And those who just find the combination of letters into words, a chore, that over rides comprehension unless I "hear" the words in my head. So I cannot read Russian stuff because I can't hear those names. And it is so droll. Except Gogol.
Reading is a "test" to my attention. And so on.
If peoples' strengths and weaknesses could be described, outlined - a system of therapeutic intervention could be implemented.
moi i wasn't disagreeing with you. part of the process of renaming is getting to the core of what constituents belong to "MDMM". Assberger'sor bawwwwtism is a generalization of farious syndromes and conditions of the minds. to classify everything under a single umbrella is ridiculous. I was angry with regards to Adrian Lamo cause initially yrs ago during his renegade imnature yr's he self diagnosed himself. When you self proclaim something only to save face at a future date is gonna make you look bad. The entire Anonymous white hacker group hates this guy and I'm obviously siding with team anon-ops. I don't buy his bullshit, he may have some symptoms of MDMM but to ethically snitch Bradley, procliam yourself a hero of the masses and hide behind a veil (his condition) is sickening. Excuses, excuses don't make a right. It makes you a coward.
I hope this coward suffers the agony of a thousand deaths with what he did.
Conciousness my friend.Conciousness. People can be driven mad for atrocities they commit.
Not menial one's but terrible sins. But can his subconciousness live with the bad karma.
Ask him hehe
Chances are he won't give you an honest answer.
Men like lamo can't handle the truth!
NB = there hints that LAMO for a time had sided for team LULZ-sec but those are rumours.

Psychiatry take another positive leap for mental health.
It has been declared Asperger's does not exist.
No, that is not what has happened. For some time it has been thought that Asperger's Syndrome was a milder form of autism while autism has been expanded from the totally non-responsive to include lesser varieties of social withdrawal. The new Manual now places both Autism and Asperger's Syndrome in a single category Autism Spectrum Disorder. This is not much different from the medical establishment's recognition that shingles and herpes are different manifestations of the same virus that causes chicken pox. It hasn't denied these different manifestations; it merely recognizes the underlying commonality in them.
Yo gareth, not sure I mean heck Im no major in psychology . I don't discredit asperger's. I do believe that for quite a while it has been the subject of generalizations that some use to self diagnose themselves and ultimately use as a benchmark to be-little or dupe others. An excuse of sorts to get people to belive that whatever action they do that is morally bad is an ok thing to do and that such action merits to go unchecked bc of such syndrome they possess.
(think sheldon cooper + lack of understanding humanity and compassionate attitude)
I mean I even dated a high level autistic lad and even he could differentiate between right and wrong.
By now you should know I despise to the Core Lamo. The entire white hacker community does aswell. It isn't what he did to Bradley that got so many irritated, it was they cowardice mannor in which he delivered the news.In fact I could in so far as say he uses asperger's and hides behind it to convince people that what he did was ok. That I find was the lowest thing any man could possibly do to another man. My point is his actions give the asperger's syndrome a bad name. And you can call me on this however you like but I don't belive a croc of shit what he said about Bradley was the ethical, patriotic, and right thing to do.
For many years there was "Multiple Polyposis," and there was "Familial Adenomatous Polyposis," and there was "Gardner's Syndrome," and there was "Familial Adenomatous Polyposis," to give some of the historical names for Familial Adenomatous Polyposis (FAP), as it is now most often named.
However, genetic mapping has indicated that there are mutiple genetic variations in FAP, and a new category of FAP has arrived on the diagnostic tree, "Attenuated FAP."
While FAP typically produces many polyps in the sigmoid colon and the descending colon, Attenuated FAP tends to first present in the cecum, where it is not going to show up using sigmoidoscopy.
And I am formally diagnosed: "Autism. High functioning" and "He is hyperverbal."
I find that the only real difference between "Autistic Disorder"and "Asperger's Disorder" is that Autistic Disorder was first labeled by Dr. Leo Kanner, in the U.S. and Asperger's Disorder was first labeled by Dr. Hans Asperger, in Vienna, Austria.
As I observe, the proposed DSM-5 diagnostic criteria for autism can very easily and accurately be interpreted to include everyone who was accurately diagnosed as having Asperger's Disorder.
So, to me, the change really is about the people who fell between the criteria for Asperger's and the criteria for autism; now those people may not be stomped between the historical crack in the autism spectrum. Therefore, to me, the change will really increase, not decrease the proportion of people who can accurately be labeled as autistic (like me) or labeled as having autism (unlike me).
I do not have autism, and autism does not have me.
I am grateful that I am autistic, and, were it up to me, would never have it any other way...
