Tamoxifen

Post by impotentus (imported) »

A few days ago, I started to miss the limpness of my dick. However, reading the diverse posts I read somewhere that tamoxifen causes Erectile Dysfunction. However, I wanna talk about it first with my doctor and to hear from some serious people about their experience. Does it really causes impotence? does it really eliminates libido? Thank you all for readin, sharing and commenting.

I plan to begin on this drug in 9 days so I will keep you posted. I would have thought that androcur - which I am taking - would have more permenant effects regarding softness. Or maybe it's the "your mileage may vary" thingy.

Guys, tamoxifen will make you have more testosterone and get rock hard erections. It is a selective estrogen blocker so does no feminization but instead tricks your body into thinking it has enough estrogen so your body won't aromatize your testosterone. It is used by male body builders to increase natural testosterone production and prevent aromatization to estrogen. It is the opposite of a castration drug for males.

By the way I actually recommend that guys generally take it, your body will get lean and muscular.but it certainly will not cause erectile dysfunction.

So does estrogen in the male body contribute zero to sex drive? If so, then what is its function? If not, then wouldn't any rock hardness from Tamoxifen be subdued by Androcur?

As of today, has been 6th day taking tis drug, my sex drive seems a bit lower, and erectios seem to fade away much faster. My body started to get muscular and I´ve started to lose a lot of weight even faster since my chemical castration recovery. Another weird side-effect of it it´s the loss of hunger. I can now endure a lot of time (almot a day)without eating anything, just some candy to keep glucose high.

Nice update. And that's really cool about the reduced need to eat! For me I think the main thing will just be how I feel when I'm on it, as in, is it helping with happiness or not? I should try it out this weekend if my batch comes in by then.

It's used in conjunction with Androcur (or generic) to eliminate the oestrogen that may be in the body and unchallenged by testosterone when you take Androcur. It thus blocks feminisation and has been said to eliminate what is left of the sex drive *after* taking Androcur. Nobody ever said it reduced sex drive or erections on its own.

I´ve read in some sites that tamoxifen will low your libido. Also, many men do not take tamoxifen because it lowers libido and triggers erectile dysfunction, even when they need it. Plus, it´s my 8th day and it really has stopped (almost) my need to masturbate and my erections seems to fade quickly once I finish masturbating.

I had taken Androcur for 4 years, the last 2 years, together with Tamoxifen. Since I stopped Androcur, I kept taking Tamoxifen by itself.

Initially, it could cause increase in testosterone. But it sure never caused rock hard erections. Long term, for me any way, it significantly reduced my libido. For the first 2 years on Androcur alone, I had to take higher and higher dosage (200 mg/day), and my libido never completely went away, still wanted to look at porn once in a while even though I could no longer get a full erection. When I added Tamoxifen to Androcur, my body went into a complete sexless state ... no more thought of anything sexual. I couldn't even be bothered to come to Eunuch Archives to see what others are doing. I have to say it was a scary vacuum state of sexlessness. I used the opportunity to scale back on all my dosages. And I was fine until the side effects of Androcur made me stop it.

Now, it's been a couple of years since stopping Androcur, I had to take Tamoxifen just to keep my breasts from growing further and hopefully to stave off osteoporosis as well. I remain in the same low low libido. I could go on for a month, as long as 3 months, with hardly a thought of sex or thought of castration/eunuch. Can I get hard, yes, sometimes, but only with direct stimulation. And my erections are far from fully hard.

Hope my experience gives you some useful reference point.

My shipment arrived this afternoon. The package was big, but thankfully the postman just left them at my doorstep rather than me having to go and sign for them. The pills are a green colour, and I shall try one on Saturday. It will be my morning pill, with the Androcur to follow at lunchtime and evening. I am actually a little excited to see what the immediate feeling is to Tamoxifen.

Hkeunuch, your shared experiences really give me some hope with this drug. I think I am a little similar to you (though perhaps naturally slightly lower sex drive), with taking significant proportions of Androcur mostly wiping out my sex drive, but not 100%. Also the Tamoxifen could maybe have me feeling a little stronger too; I've had a number of headaches lately. My guess is that my testosterone level is very low, but for me that's a good thing.

On a slightly side topic, has anyone experienced masturbation where they can kinda get hard, but it actually hurts to go further and go all the way? This seems to have been Androcur's effect on me this time. It has been a full month tomorrow since a proper ejaculation, and I haven't even been tempted to view bad stuff this week, so I am going nicely into a sexless state.
