I just have a question if anyone can answer it. A couple years ago I was on some heavy medication for an injury and I had lost some memory of many of the things that happened. I was looking through some old files and I found a comment my last boyfriend made about a movie. He talked about a native tribe, where one of the people betrayed the tribe and then had his penis sawed off for punishment.

I am not sure if this is something I have ever seen. I can remember a little bit, but being a psychologist I know that memory is extremely unreliable. It is even possible the movie scene I slightly remember was something made up in my head. But, if this sounds familiar to anyone, can you help me out with a name? I have been doing lot of research on memory and I want to see if this is something that I actually have seen or not.

Yes it is a movie where some tribal Africans have chased a guy down and they have him on the ground. They drive a spear into his guts then cut off his penis with a big knife and a fair but of blood spurts out. I believe it was a scene from one of the Faces of Death movies. The clip is usually called Tribal Penectomy. It has French subtitles. There is no consensus on whether it is fake, but it looks real enough to be exciting.
