It actually is around 2/10 in continuous pain.

This sounds more like it.

I have a urologist appointment Wednesday and am going to ask him if he would remove them telling him about how I have been suffering daily since my early 20's and how it's just getting worse and this time I can't do it anymore now that I am 52 something has to be done.

Quick 36 hour update:

Swelling is still around 150%.

Pain is 3/10 without painkillers, but 400mg Ibuprofen and 1000mg Paracetamol (equivalent of 2 Tylenol) helps alot.

It's pretty unusual to still have so much swelling after nine days, but it sounds like the 30% solution achieved total destruction.

Another quick update:

Pain got worse, swelling increased to nearly double the original size.

The chord is now also swollen, which may be the cause for the increased pain.

I hope it will get better soon.

The pain almost always lasts exactly three days. Not sure why, but after that period it just goes away. Until that point though it can be hellish and you wonder if you can last (and question "what if the pain doesn't go away").

Experiencing that kind of pain always reminds me to be empathetic to those that seek euthanasia due to chronic pain. When you're young you can almost always expect pain to go away, but if a person had such pain with no hope of it ending I can see it making your life a living hell.

Anyway, hang in there. Usually just around the time when you decide you can't take it any longer, it will go away. And it usually goes away completely -- balls will be hard and numb.

That's what I've been taking. I didn't use ice packs.

Pain is much better today. 1 or 2 out of 10.

2 out of 10 when i'm walking around.

I hope it doesn't get too bad during the day, as I have to work today.
