I'll probably inject again in 4-5 months if both don't reach the size of small grapes. As of today the left one is about the size of a large cherry and the right about twice as big. They started out as large eggs, so quite a drop.

Will receive a CaCl Solution next weekend and inject 1.5 ml in each ball the Tuesday after. Looking forward to the results! It's time!

This is about the same dose I used that seems to be working fine.

How long took it until the pain started and what did you do about it. I only have a day off to relax. How long until you realized it did the job? Which painkillers do you recommend?

I never experienced any significant pain. Took a couple of Tylenol capsules once when I thought pain was beginning. You may experience the same if you follow the dog castration protocol exactly. Highly recommended. I still have some time to go to assess how completely it worked (six weeks isn't long enough).

Thanks - Which was the dog castration protocol again? This thread is sooo long.

Dog castration protocol.

Note that the 20% strength is probably the only one the vets have tested, and is likely to be a minimum.

They tried different concentrations of CaCl2 in saline in a previous paper. Increasing the concentration too much caused a great deal of necrosis and they had to castrate the dogs. They were probably in pain during the process. The 20% formulation was found to be very consistent in lowering testosterone to castrate levels so there wasn't a lot of reason to play with it.

Reading through the thread takes a while but you can learn very valuable lessons on what works and what causes great pain. You should emerge with the sense that you can't vary the procedure at will and get the desired result.

some time ago i said that i'm far more disciplined after the operation then i was before. But now it seems that i've completely lost my will to do anything and i'm sinking down.

my testosterone was 1,25 ng/ml last time i checked, it's slowly sinking.

thats me, i should be doing stuff but i'm completely loosing my mind.
