I've been building a case with "It hurts" and "make it stop", without even resorting to injections. Many doctors might prefer not to intervene unless the condition is chronic and maybe even not unless it is having an impact on your health and lifestyle, so…

Also, "chronic" in this case is defined as "more than 3 months".

You can always tell the SOB, like some others have, cut the bastards off or I will. Take your chances from there...

I don't really want to give the impression that I *really* want them gone. I want to give the impression that if they're a risk, I want them gone, but not that I want them gone *too much*

And my balls haven't been swollen for a year. I think I'm going to try to mimic the cancer symptoms. Maybe say I've had a slight ache in my abdomen and that I feel a slight discomfort in my balls.

Quite honestly, if you want them gone, just tell the doc they are giving you problems and you want them removed. By pretending to not be sure, you are merely encouraging the doc to continue trying other treatment methods instead of what you really want, which is a surgical solution. When my doc looked at my scans and told me they had to be removed, I didn't beat about thew bush, told him that was what I wanted. He then told me that he may be able to save part of the left testicle, but I was firm and told him that I wanted them both completely removed.

I think this is another mistake that quite a few people here have made in that they have not been specific in their requests to their urologists. So basically my advice is to present to the doc while youe testicles are still swollen and sore and get a scan done then when the testicle hasn't had a chance to recover and the damage will be very evident and then tell him that they have been giving you trouble for a long time and be firm in telling him you want them surgically removed.

Amen. Don't screw around. Get direct, assertive, and insistent.

Yeah that sounds good. I'll probably tell them I'm trans. I think I'll have to, the moment they take blood for a hormone levels check, it'll be out of whack.

I'll say I have no want or need for bio children and that I'm already committed to not reproducing (I'm in a pretty gay relationship right now)

I'll say if there's any risk, I want them gone.

I think they'd be less hesitant because I'm trans and want them gone anyways.

No sense in hiding it if they'll discover it as soon as they try to get a hormone baseline.

Since my appointment with Arnkoff is a ways out, I thought I may give this a shot and maybe get them off without making a trip. I've read through the majority of the thread and while it seems fairly straightforward, what is the best angle for injection? From the bottom up? From the top in the center? Just curious.

Getting the angle right for the bottom up would be very difficult. Remember you'll have to have the testicle in one hand and the syringe/needle in the other, and then have to be able to push the plunger. I think as long as you hit the center, you'll be fine. I think I remember one person going lengthwise and pulling the needle so the calcium chloride was put into the testicle lengthwise instead of just in the center.

But I would stick to center. If you fidget too much and get calcium chloride outside of the testicle and into the scrotum, I don't think you'll have a good time.
