Believe me, the difference between one side and both sides will be negligible, so doing both sides at the same time is best way to go, then when they are nice and swollen, you can go to the ER and they will remove them with very little argument. The pain can be managed with Tramadol 2300mg/ I used this and within 45 minutes, I had no pain at all, Doing one at a time means that if you want them surgically removed and from the look of your profile, this is what you want you will need to have surgery twice and believe me the surgery is better done on both at the same time. as though I have not experienced much pain from my surgery a week ago, there is still a fair bit of discomfort all the same.

2300 mg of Tramadol is quite a high dose. In the US the standard dose is 50mg per dose gradually increasing to 400-800mg per dose up to four times per day. --FLO--

I highly doubt just presenting yourself with very swollen testicles that they will be removed. In fact, unless they are infarcted the standard treatment will be high dosages of antibiotics. Ultrasound would indicate that and also testicular torsion. There has to be an end game and the testicle has show serious damage that it is not viable. I would wait until they are normal or
less than normal with extensive calcification which is one marker of testicular cancer.

Thanks for your thoughts Micdavi24. The doctors are puzzled, but not enough to be worried, they think the shrinkage is due to a previous infection and want to monitor them. Since I stopped alcohol injections last October, the idea of some more with CC is simply to extend the damage to the point that they will remove them. I don't have access to pain killers beyond Co-Dydramol, which relives pain.
I am going to inject the left side today and by the time it has settles down I will be due another ultrasound.
Yesterday I was out all day and I barely noticed any pain. Today the testicle is still tender to squeeze and swollen.
In spite of the previous damage the lower dose I took must be good based on other posts.
One of the key thngs for me is to make a plan and stick to it unless there is an exceptional reason to change.

I agree and had my testicles been swollen they would have done precisely this. That is a challenge as I am allergic to many anti-biotics!
I may present to my doctor with the swelling to see what he says in a couple of weeks.

Maybe Australian urologists are a bit more progressive, as if you look back in the thread you will see 2 guys here in Aus who have presented with severely swollen and inflamed testicles and had them removed as a result.

In the UK the tendency is to prescribe anti-biotics unless they can see a risk of cancer or other serious issue. My medical history of orichitis/prostatic abscess etc leads them to think that shrunken testicles are a side effect of infection.
Anway 3 days has passed and I am ready to do the left side now.

Has anybody actually tried the zinc solutions like neutersol yet?
Inquiring minds want to know.

They don't really castrate rather they sterilize. If you read the literature on neutersol it causes sterility but does not reduce testosterone much. It is more like a vasectomy than a castration.
