Like your small testicle, my small one is basically back to its original size with a small squishy indent in the center and I have to squeeze it really hard to elicit any feeling from it. The right hand one is still about 2.5 times its original size and very sensitive to touch, though even the dull ache of discomfort has disappeared now, but if I turn over in bed without due caution, it reminds me very strongly that it is there and has been assaulted. Both of mine got the "special" injection and they also each got a 1.0 ml shot of vodka the day before the CaCl2 injection.
My ultrasound is set for Friday 27/12 at 10.30, exactly a week almost to the hour after My CaCl2 injections, so i
y say in the report. I will of course open the envelope to read the report before I submit it to the urologist. I will have to wait till after Jan 6th to make an appointment with her as her rooms are closed for the break. Maybe this is a good thing since I will have a brand new ultrasound report to show her and not an 8 month old report from my last spike. Hopefully this will lead to immediate removal of both testes and scrotum. One point of clarification I should add, is that when I had the vasectomy back in June '98, they closed the incision with a self absorbing stitch which dissolved in 2 days and led to the incision being open and also a massive intrascrotal infection, which I suspect may have been the source of my problems. The other guy that I told you about had a similar problem except that his stitch took 3 days to dissolve and he did not consult a doc as fast as I did, so his resultant infection was worse than mine.
Oh well, I will hope for the best outcome for me when I see the urologist, but like you, I feel confident of a positive outcome.
