At 12 hours post injection I was also feeling no pain. Pain started around 18 hours and peaked at around 72 hours.

I'm now just over 24 hours.

Slept very well last night. I rook a couple of Tylenol PM, just in case. Woke slightly earlier than usual this morning.

Very slight dull ache and very slight pain on compression. Probably a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10.

My testicles are easily double their original size and quite hard at the moment. To be expected due to fluid accumulating to combat the attack I inflicted on them. They feel quite heavy in the loose running shorts I put on this morning.

They're not warm to the touch, and there's no signs of infection.

No other symptoms at the present.

Hopefully this continues going as well as it has so far. I'm hoping one injection will accomplish my goals and have committed to not doing any more injections at least until mid-November. In 60 days I should start to see reduction in size if this is going to succeed.

I took a look at dvdbll's before and after pictures in the personals section and, if I even come close to what he's accomplished, I'll consider this a fabulous success.

Given that I'd been at castrate levels of testosterone for so many years, my penis has gotten quite small and I haven't had spontaneous or nocturnal erections in years. It takes a lot of effort to get me slightly hard at all and it's damn near impossible to bring myself to orgasm. I'm very comfortable with this and talked with my doctor about maintaining testosterone levels just above castrate with TRT to avoid other health consequences.

My balls, however, have been ridiculously large and out of proportion to my penis for many years and have grown quite uncomfortable in my undershorts.

Since beginning TRT five months ago (I used Androderm for three months, then injections the last two) I've regained a lot of muscle tone, grown a little body hair back and have lost quite a bit of the redistributed fat. However, I have no sex drive and I'm satisfied with this.

Before embarking on this process I considered the what if's should I result in near castration (or even surgical, if it became necessary, and I'm okay with the risk.

Hi all -

I'm at 60 hours post injection.

No pain medication for more than 24 hours. Not needed.

I experience compression pain when fondling my balls and a little bit of referred pain to my lower back and abdomen. Still on a scale of probably 1 out of 10.

My balls are now probably the size of small lemons (an analogy I'll keep since I want the lemons to mostly vacate my scrotum).

I've a minor background in physiology and anatomy, which has served me well here.

Personal opinion: many of those who have walked this path before me have probably overdosed what's necessary. We're setting up a long-term failure of tissue to regenerate, which doesn't necessarily need to involve a lot of foreign material, resulting in a lot of pain.

I believe that the salt solution we're injecting into our testicles, along with the fluid that accumulates as a response to the injury, is what basically leads to the testicular failure over time. The presence of the salt, along with the added fluid accumulated from the insult, crystallizes in the testicle causing the resulting tissue to fail to regenerate.

In the preparation I made, I used 1%

benzyl alcohol as a belt-and-suspenders approach,

in addition to boiling my mixed formula, to assure that I wasn't adding bacteria unnecessarily to my testicles. Benzyl alcohol is regularly used in both

intravenous and intramuscular injection

preparations, where the mixing vial contains multiple doses to be administered over a period of time.

Originally, preparations such as these were mixed with bacteriostatic water. For a period of time, bacteriostatic water was unavailable, so it became necessary for a DIY approach. Note: Bacteriostatic water is nothing more than sterile water with 0.9% benzyl alcohol added.

Anyway, I think, perhaps, my belt-and-suspenders approach to sterility has been somewhat responsible for my lack of side-effect from this process. I did inject 0.5ml into each testicle, after all, and have been nearly 100% functional for the last two and a half days with very minor discomfort.

At this point, I'm not going to re-inject for at least 60 days, hoping to achieve my goal of significant testicle size reduction beginning to come to fruition. If, at 60 days, I don't see results, I'll reconsider a second 0.5ml dosing.

I'm also looking forward to experiencing the changes over the coming days. As odd as it sounds, I'm grateful I'm not having to continue with pain medication at this point, because I want to fully experience what I've done to my balls. I really want to enjoy losing most of the size of my testicles.

If push comes to shove and I end up losing my testicles as a result of this process, I'm also comfortable with that. I've spent most of my life with giant balls and the last dozen years or so of a tiny penis due to lack of testosterone production. It's been extremely uncomfortable and, frankly, embarrassing. I'd much rather have little in my shorts.

I think I'm on my way, and I'm delighted at this point.

Hi All, Dodo here again, over 6 months since injecting each ball with 1.5ml 40% CaCl2. I was waiting to reinject at the 6 month point, but have experienced no recovery of male function, so will go on waiting. Both testicles are less hard than they were in the first few months, still insensitive to pressure, and still swelling and hardening by day and shrinking by night. My minimal package volume is about half a handful, considerably less than the full handful minimal volume before I started ligating my cords. I have no libido, no weight gain, but less muscle and more fat around the belly, bum and thighs. I have had only one spontaneous leak (of seminal vesicle fluid) during the six months, and that was after eating male meat, and have not masturbated or even felt like it. My nocturnal erections are rare and only achieve 4" long by 5" round ( compared with 6" long and 6" round before all this). My scrotum is mostly bunched up, rather than dangling.

I am happy where I have got to, and put the long-lasting effects down to the CaCl2. I'd rather not go through the pain of the three days post injection again, but will not hesitate to reinject if there are signs that T levels are rising. Dodo1943

84+ hours post injection.

No pain. No tenderness. No compression tenderness. No referred pain.

My balls feel numb. Very little sensation. They just feel full.

My balls are probably 3-4 times their original volume. Gives me pause for a moment that this project is working as intended.

I'm encouraged and delighted at the prospect of losing most of their original volume and all of their original function. Would also be delighted to lose them entirely.

Time will tell.

Also working at keeping TRT at no more than 150-200 ng/dl. My doctor is comfortable with very low T. Having been near zero at original supplementation, I understand that I don't want to risk a level any lower.

My only hope is to come out the other side with very small balls to match my (now) very small cock... and absolutely no sex drive.

I'll post again as I progress.

Hello all,

I'm a week post injecting .5ml CaCl into both balls.

Both are still probably 3x larger than they were originally. The left, which was originally smaller, is currently measurably larger.

I haven't used any pain medication in days. Don't really want to because I really want to experience the hurt I've put on my nuts. Not a masochist, just not really feeling more than a dull ache in my right nut and am encouraged as long as my self-inflicted case of orchitris lasts. I believe the longer this goes on, the more likely I'm going to achieve testicular atrophy and failure.

Both balls are still rock hard. The left has almost no sensation at this point. It's oddly really numb; kinda cold in my hand. The right still has slight pain on compression. Otherwise hard like its twin.

Nothing to report regarding libido, as I'm self-injecting a moderate dose of testosterone, and working to reduce the dosage to keep my level between 150 and 200. I had labs drawn the week prior to injecting CaCl and my total testosterone level was 212 (reference range of the lab my doctor uses is 250 - 950), so I'm on my way to maintaining what my doctor calls a "extremely sub-optimal, but otherwise acceptable level given my desires."

I'm thinking I'll reduce my next testosterone dosage from my current 100 units every other week to 30. Next jab is Tuesday. I was using Androderm patches prior to the last two months of injection and moderating that dosage was problematic in terms of maintaining no sex drive.

As to what's been going on in my head: If I thought my balls were horribly oversize before, currently they're ginormous. We're talking a couple of lemons in my shorts. Very uncomfortable. My usual running shorts, with in-built liner, are hard to wear because I'm far exceeding what the pouch was designed for. Each ball on its own completely fills my palm when grasped about it.

My goal here is very small balls, not total castration. Though I remain okay if I do ultimately end up being castrated as a result of my shenanigans.

I'm really looking forward to the coming days and weeks as the swelling starts to go down and my balls actually start to shrink. I really want to match my small penis with even tinier balls.

I remain resolved to stick to my original .5 ml dose in each ball until at least 60 days have passed. If, at that point, I feel I'm not reducing as desired, I'll consider a second dose.

I'll post as things progress.

been busy at work and also away on holiday

balls are hard and small, the left is still much smaller than the right, and both are now too hard to inject into anymore, have noticed a slight decrease in libido and in ejeculation but I still get erections quite easily (sounds a bit contradictory lol) , so it's now

just a waiting game to see what happens next ............

Left testicle lot smaller and hope continues to shrink. No problems with it and time will tell what the ultimate results are. The right testicle was surgically removed on Aug. 27, 2013 after weeks of major pain and swelling! The urologist said the testicle had burst and infection then set in and had eaten into the scrotum. Doing well now with one testicle removed and waiting to see what the result is with the other one. Original injection Aug. 1, 2013.

Sorry to hear that you had to go through the trauma of surgery at this point. Although, I'm assuming your ultimate goal is complete removal of both testicles.

Curious: Was there any discussion with the urologist about having both removed when you had the right one done? I would think the doctor would notice there was something not quite right with the left as well.

Also, how was your recovery from the surgery?

For those of us going through this process after you, knowing all the possible pitfalls is important. We're messing with a very complicated piece of anatomy here.

For me, I am encouraged that, at about seven weeks, your remaining testicle has become a lot smaller. Hooray for you, on that at least.

My follow-up: At the moment, I'm nearly pain-free. Some very slight discomfort on compression of my right ball. The intense swelling on it has begun to recede; it's probably 1-1/2 times original size, down from about triple.

The left ball remains about triple original, though the swelling in it is slightly down today. Originally, my left was substantially smaller than the right.

For the last several days, my activity level is back to normal. Able to get exercise and do a lot of walking. Still a very large package in my shorts.

Yesterday, I was short of breath walking up hills. Tomorrow is my next regular injection of testosterone. As mentioned before, I'm deliberately trying to maintain sub-optimal level, so on the downslide of a bi-weekly dosing scheme, shortness of breath is expected. I don't currently feel any other symptoms of being castrate.

Both balls still feel heavy, hard, numb and cool to the touch. Hopefully I'll continue on the downward slide for this case of self-inflicted orchitis, and will soon start to observe some significant reduction.
