Another update.

Shortly after my last post I decided it would be better to "pull the bandaid off all at once" and go up to .5 ml per testicle.

I think that would have been a good place to stop the injections, but for whatever reason a few hours later I put another full 1 ml into each.

Then, the next morning after waking up with no pain at all, I injected another 1 ml. Just call me an idiot or a glutton for punishment, but I guess I couldn't stop until my balls started giving me pain.

With 2.5 ml in each, it didn't take long until I started to feel it. Last night I was in a lot of pain, and the Aleve wasn't doing much.

This morning I tried to post on the archive and nearly passed out after sitting on a hard chair while going online. I've been lying in bed since then and thankfully the pain is starting to subside.

Again, I wish I had stopped at .5 ml (or even 1.5 ml), but at least I seem to be okay now.

The common experience is

three days of significant discomfort.

For me it was more of an extreme tenderness (i.e. pain only if they were bumped or manipulated) but some people have had outright pain. The good news is that I haven't heard of anyone with pain after the third day.

While I admired your intentions of starting slowly, the method is well documented to be dose dependent, so probably for the best that you went with a full dose.

Right now I am pretty much pain free but my testicles have swelled up quite a bit (perhaps 3x their normal size). I feel like I'm walking around with a couple of oranges between my legs. Wish I had gone with a lower dose, but it is what it is. That's it for now.

Latest update -

It has been one week since my last injection, and I am feeling much more comfortable now. Both balls are still large (perhaps 2x their normal size), but the pain is really starting to go away. In my last update I said that I was pain free, but that wasn't exactly right. If I was taking my 2 Aleve every 4 hours I had very little pain. I would wake up at night though, perhaps 6 hours after taking the Aleve, and the pain was definitely still there. Yesterday I dropped myself down to 1 Aleve every 4 hours, and last night I switched to 1 ibuprofen every four hours (ran out of Aleve).

On other fronts, I've started taking calcium just in case along with my daily vitamin D supplement. I've also scheduled a Dr.'s appt for two months from now where I hope to get checked for low T.

Hope everyone else trying this is doing well, too

It has been one week since my last injection, and I am feeling much more comfortable now. Yesterday I dropped myself down to 1 Aleve every 4 hours, and last night I switched to 1 ibuprofen every four hours (ran out of Aleve).

I've also scheduled a Dr.'s appt for two months from now where I hope to get checked for low T.

If the pain persists and you continue to have to take Naproxen for relief and your testicles also show abnormalities, your physician may recommend their removal on the chance that they could be cancerous.

Hey all -- I wanted to let you know that it has been a couple of months since I injected both of mine with 30% CaCL. The swelling was extensive, especially on the left side. But now both are smaller than the top of my thumb, or probably the size of a small olive. This is probably less than 25% of the volume they originally were before I started injecting alcohol. I had big nuts before. They are very hard and have hard ridges around them. They look very small in my sac and easiliy stay in the inguinal canal if I put them there, where they seem to get lost.

I was taking 5% androgel daily. I went off it for about 10 days just to see what damage I'd done, and I completely lost the ability to get an erection or orgasism. My flacid penis shrunk significantly. I was able to get an erection when I started back on Androgel.

I go back to the urologist this fall, and hopefully he'll finally remove them. Wish me luck.

Is salt as good as grain alcohol? I am afraid to inject because I don't know how to do it. Plus I have a large spermatocele and my left nut is 3" by 2". I know how to inject insulin but I want to know how to inject "the best" substance.

Good luck dvdbll. It's good to see some activity on this thread. I have definitely reduced my libido after only two weeks. Mine are still kind of large and firm, but they aren't as uncomfortable as they were last week. Now that almost all of the pain is gone (and some of my libido) I'm starting to feel like I made the right decision to go ahead with this (I wasn't so sure last week).

Do not inject regular salt. Read the thread to be informed. All the information is here already.
