Calcium Chloride and Other Salt Injections for Castration

Yeah I'm glad, there has been pain that lasts less than a second occurring randomly, but that stopped a week ago. There was major pain at first though, but I've already talked about that. Right now, I'm really wondering what they'll be like at the end xD

Okay, so here is the break down:

I injected 1.5ml of a 2to1 ratio of solution (CACL and Everclear) into each testicle at approximately 9:30 pm last night. The initial injections always sting a bit but no other complications or issues.... at least for the first two hours and then wham! My lower inguinal area started to ache and my testicles felt like they were on fire! 3 hours into it and my lower back began to ache as well and continued to do so on and off all through the night. Regardless to say I did not get any sleep as a result of the incredible discomfort I was feeling all around my backside and groin. Currently the back pain has subsided a bit but walking is difficult and my lower stomach is taught and aches. My testicles are swollen and painful to the touch and hurt while walking or even sitting. I hope the pain dies down in the next few hours so I can at least walk around easily. I think I may break down and take some Ibuprofen. I'll update in a few hours....:-\

I have some difficult to insert the liquid in the syringe. I had to pump several times (100 or more) to insert 1 ml inside it. But finally i cancelled the session because i don't know if this is normal and i was scared about my health. I'll try another time .

Ibuprofen didn't do it for me. I had to take 2 Ibuprofen and 2 paracetamol at the same time, that kept it off for the most part.

Thank you for the kind thoughts Jemagirl and SilviaCor. I'm doing much better at the moment although a hospital trip seemed rather appealing last night while I was thrashing about in bed . Currently, I just feel as if someone has kicked me in the groin or is squeezing my testicles and won't let go. I would definitely recommend that anyone attempting this have some Ibuprofen handy. The discomfort got to a point where I had to give in and pop a pill (and it felt a lot better after I did). Funny, I hate pills but will go to great lengths to get rid of the extra baggage (if you know what I mean). Anyhow, the pain is manageable with the Ibuprofen. I did manage to get some sleep (finally) and feel much better then I did last night for sure. I must also add that if anyone is going to try this, a morning start time would be best since you may assume that you will not be getting much if any sleep during the course of the first 12 - 24 hrs. I think Something might be able to relate to this :O)

Unlike the Everclear shots, the swelling in each testicle has not subsided much and they are very sensitive to the touch (ouch!). Being purely speculative, I would think this means the CACL is destroying the interior of each testicle at a very slow but continual rate. According to several of the articles posted by SplitDik, the process in dogs and cats takes an average of six weeks until full castration, although I feel in my case it may occur much faster. Again, purely speculative on my part but it really feels different this time.

Oh, and by the way, I certainly do not recommend or am in any way suggesting that anyone inject anything into one's body because such behavior could lead to serious injury or death. If you feel the driving need to be castrated so that your body will stop producing great quantities of the dreaded "T," then you should definitely seek professional help. However, if you seem to have some extra time on your hands and can't stop thinking about ways to make some "adjustments" in your life, then I see no harm in attempting to learn how to "change your own oil" or "fix the plumbing." In fact, "do it yourself" types are often quite content with themselves :O) Just my little disclaimer. Brooke :O)

Not really, like I've said they don't hurt anymore. It went away after... erm... five days I think. It hurt most when I was walking or moving my legs, and it was the kind of pain that made me need to move my legs... I did it at night as well and had no sleep at all! But yeah, nothing new except the change in shape. I hope it works, I really do... I don't want to have to find another method or go through that pain again... To me the idea that testosterone is inside of me makes me feel like I'm infected, like it's going to basically eat me from the inside... I know that sounds weird, and I know even women have testosterone... But I genuinely can't let it continue to be produced!

Hope it works well for you. If I do end up doing it again (which I'll wait quite a while for, by the way), I'll have to get more calcium chloride... the salt has separated from the liquid in the stuff I have which is a bit worrying...

Perhaps it would be helpful in the first hours if the injected solution would contain some lidocaine.

From what I read here, some tests on dogs were with added lidocaine.

Very good news if your pain is moderate now, BrookeTS. Now you only need to wait and all will go right. I am a bit scared because i'll pass for this too, but i'll do it in a ratio of 3:1, like i said in other post, and 1cc for both testicles.
