Good evening from a Trans-woman geekette

Post by CutlassCait (imported) »

Good evening everyone,

I'm Cait and I'm a trans-female and I wanted to introduce myself.

I'm back in the closet after living as Caitlin for nearly full time for almost two years. Going through a legal separation and back with my religious parents.

My mom was a Franciscan nun and is now a Eucharistic minister and my dad is an Usher at church.

I know I will never be able to afford a SRS and as I hate the birth defect I have to endure I am seeking nullification.

It will be healthier for me and it will allow the hormones to take more effectively for my transition.

To me this ios not a game. It is not jackoff material. I kn ow well about depression and the bone issues with the lack of calcium and T issues. I am ready and willing to do this.

I am seeking those that can assist me in it.

I also enjoy ren faires, fandom conventions and table top role playing as well as photography. I am also a lifestyle BDSM Service submissive and identify as a lesbian.

Sincerely,

Cait

Welcome. A couple of comments. Being trans, and having run trans support groups for the better part of a decade, I have listened to hundreds of trans women and watched their progress. From your profile and introduction, you are about 38, live near LA, are fresh from a breakup (and probably depressed) and are suffering financial difficulties during the greatest financial crisis in seventy five years. Assuming that SRS is what you would prefer to end up with, it is way too soon to abandon that goal unless you have a fetish for nullification. You have at least another 30 years during which your finances will likely improve, (in the basement, the elevators only go up) It is not difficult to get an orchiectomy in this country for around $2000 or less, with the proper medical and psychological referrals, but I know of no US surgeons who will do nullifications for non medical reasons. To get it done safely will probably require going abroad (pun intended), probably to Thailand or India, and then you are running into the amount of money that would come close to paying for SRS.

And if you did suceed, and later decided you wanted SRS, you would already have gotten rid of those bits that make it possible to be orgasmic, and most of the tissue you would need to construct a neovagina and labia. Your only option would be a colon graft SRS, a procedure that is vastly riskier than a penile inversion SRS, and you would still not be orgasmic. Most SRS surgeons will not do SRS on nullified individuals. And what ever you do, do not consider non doctor cutters. That's a good way to end up dead or worse.

Being pre-op or non-op is no great barrier to lesbian relationships. I know a number of pre-op trans lesbians in the local kink community. (You often do run into a lot of prejudice from political lesbians, but they don't like post op trans people either.) (from a Facebook post by a young (bio)lesbian friend of mine "Ohh my goodness. Transgirls are so wonderful in bed, and by transgirls I mean my wife..")

Have you experimented with chemical castration? You might want to try this first, then get the orchiectomy. Sometimes trans-women who get castrated to stop male hormones find out that that's all they need and no longer pursue SRS.
