Those not into Batman/Justice League will probably not appreciate this one, but...

Set in the Batman Beyond universe, Bruce Wayne & Co. learn of the return of one of the members of the old Rogues Gallery.

You can probably guess which one, and no, it's not the Joker. That's already been done!

Told from Growler's point of view, this story throws the next generation of the Bat Family into a thrill-a-minute ride that is, of course, going to have dire consequences for our heroes.

I've just finished with beta'ing chapter 2, and it did not disappoint.

A five star story.

I am completely out of touch with the entire Justice League storyline / situation / story arc / *-EVERYthing...

... and yet I have no problem getting in touch with this story .

And, while 'losing stuff' as required by the EA is certainly present in an integral way, the storys' meat-and-potatos storyline is so interesting that one would hardly miss the topical-bits.

Thank-you so much for all your suggestions and advice Paolo. You really helped me with this one. I have a bit of an odd idea for the next chapter, and I'll likely get to work on it this weekend.

We are going to see a lot more of the extended DC universe characters in the upcoming chapters. So far, my story has been a real sausage fest. It is time to get some females into the story. They are, after all, 50% of the population.

Poor Growler. The next few chapters are not going to be easy on him.
