For those who don't want to view, basically it looks like three people probably on drugs have a couple hostage. The guy has a bag over his head and the girl is being raped on the floor, they give the guy a pair of scissors and tell him to cut his own dick off or they will kill the girl. He can't see what is going on, but eventually does start cutting. A very realistic looking penectomy follows.

My verdict - Fake. The camera is too jittery and the guy isn't showing much pain if any. Having been cut on down there, I can tell you doing it that would would be insanely painful.

I vote for fake. I could have done without all the drama leading up to the cut, but the severed penis and the girl sucking it were HOT! I wish there were more penectomy vids out there, whether real or well-done fiction.

The thing is, I think most of you are thinking it is fake because of the subject (i.e. too extreme to be real, right?) But is there anything about the film itself that seems faked? if you compare this to all of the many gore, gonzo, shock movies out there, both professional and amateur, there are a lot of reasons I think this is real.

The first is that the quality of the filming is SO poor while the special effects are quite good. I mean there are lots of movies that are supposed to look candid (cinema verite, shaky camera technique, etc.) but those are still quite purposeful in their technique -- the shaking is done in a specific way, etc. It is not likely that someone trying to stage this would go to such lengths while risking it as such poor film quality.

There are lots of elements of realism. If someone is faking something, it is very hard for it to look unplanned. The guy would probably be tied to a bed, rather than against junk in a corner. The bag on his head would be more purposeful. The guy's hand is truly shaky.

The blood seems really real. I've seen a lot of gore movies, and they never get the blood right. There is usually wrong color (bright red), or two runny, or too much, or splurts too dramatically. To me the way the blood starts seeping through his fingers really seems realistic for a guy holding onto the remainder of his shaft trying to stem the bleeding.

I don't buy the argument that it would be "too painful". This is a guy who assumes he will probably die, all he knows is he hears his girlfriends' extreme screaming after they threaten to shove a knife into her cunt. Honestly, men can easily withstand pain under that kind of duress, especially if you think it is what you have to do.

The girlfriend's screams seem really realistic. Whenever a girl fakes a scream, it is never that full on shriek that you hear here -- that kind of shriek is usually heard when you watch women truly in distress or in a fight. I've been in acting classes where you are supposed to practice screaming, and never have heard a girl really hit the true distress roar.

The girl who picks up the severed dick really acts drugged up / insane.

Like I said, I've seen a lot of attempts to make realistic gore, and this really seems like there is too much mundane realness to it to be fake.

I realize that people can be ingenious and go to great lengths, but there is also a lot of real brutality out there now being captured on film. There are real murders, rapes, beheadings, cartel hits, etc. available for watching on those same web sites. If this is fake, then it is better than all other gore movies ever made.

I watched the video. It is fake. Sorry.

The gore in fact is not that great. It is a simple foam prosthetic injected with stage blood. The poor lighting, poor focus, and shaky cam work all work to conceal the reality of a guy holding a foam dick over his real one.

The prosthetic is not hard to make, and if these kids were taking a film school class, they would be able to make one easily. The giveaway is that the outer skin of the penis does not retract, and the penis does not change shape when cut. It is a static piece. Real penises don't act like a severed hunk of solid foam.

The acting was too far over the top. It was a group of amateurs making a video for amateur shock value. I went to film school with a guy who was obsessed with zombie movies, and he shot stuff exactly like this. Hacking off body parts, etc...

Completely fake.

I don't totally agree with Cainanite about how the severed penis looks -- I'm always surprised at the pictures of actual severed penises (e.g. Bobbit, or others on BM

E) -- they hold a less flaccid than expected look.

But yeah, it could be a good film school piece (I hope). I still say it looks more real than most professional shock movies though.

i think the B movie aspect of this helps it be more realistic maybe, and to be fair, its done really well, the guy slicing his meats shakey hand from i have no doubt a mixture of adrenaline and pain, and the screaming, i have a feeling thered be a bit more blood but, really done very well... i want to knock the guy holding the camera out, his voice is annoying, plus the drugged up girl is annoying, but at the end she did look completely fucked out of her mind

I am always very sceptical of pictures or videos of any body mods. I always suspect them, yet I always hold out hope that they may be real. --FLO--
