You can talk about votes all you want, the simple fact is that people just don't vote. Maybe people feel their vote doesn't matter. Maybe they don't like the fact that we only get to choose from two people for almost any elected position. What two people? Democrat and Republican. Personally, I hate the two labels. Either extreme, liberal and conservative are bad. Both parties talk about 'the middle' and 'bi-partisanship', but that's just bullshit to trick the American people that they're all one big happy family.

I don't like the idea of blindly casting your vote on "party lines". But, unfortunately, I, and most people, don't have the time to do their research on candidates. So, in most cases, I will vote Democrat, if only because I don't trust the average Republican. Not to say that won't ever vote Republican. I thought the best candidate for the 2000 election was Senator John McCain. But, nooooo, Dubya won the Primary. *shakes head* No choices.. Maybe I'll get into politics myself some day... Nah, the media annoys me.

I don't dislike Bush because he's a Republican. I dislike him because he's illiterate. *nods decisively*

And, in the end, I don't think it really matters who we have as President. This is why they have four year terms. I liked Clinton. I'd much rather have a President that gets head than a President that starts wars. Yes, Clinton did his share of military campaigns, but Dubya's actions .. grr, he just pisses me off. The so-called "War on Terror" will precipitate exactly the opposite of what Bush has convinced the American people it will do. Instead of securing the safety of the American people (that is, eliminating all their enemies), they will just piss off every country on the planet. Is it any surprise that ONLY Great Britain has supported the US for a strike against Saddam?

*sighs* Great, now look what you've done. I have a love-hate relationship with politics. I should take some US Government classes when I get the chance. Or just government classes, period. *nods decisively*

...so SO_DAMNED INSANE gets his stinkin' atom bomb and just guess who is first on his list?

💭

It sure as hell ain't Israel. They want to give that back to the Palestinians. A radioactive "Dome of the Rock" will not be open for pilgrimages.

YEP! That's right! Good Guess!

England and America.

Boy, I wish that I didn't have to explain this anymore.

This is tangent, but I think that Jerusalem should be nuked. This way, nobody gets it! Of course, this doesn't solve the lingering problem about the rest of Israel. Ah, if the world were that simple, we wouldn't need to GOTO such extremes..

Talk about a thread that wanders. It starts with the official archive stance about child pornography and ends up with nuking another country.

How can this happen?
