If it's about WHO is doing it, then you're doing it for the wrong reasons.

I don't think it is quite that clear cut. If you've wanted something for a long time and only get to do it once, then it isn't unreasonable to want to do it in a ceremoneous way. What you guys are saying is like saying "if you want a nice wedding then you're getting married for the wrong reasons". This can also be true (some women are more about the fantasy of a wedding than being married) but isn't really fair.
With all things equal, it is reasonable to want something done in a specific way. This thread was posed exactly that way -- if you had an equal choice, i.e. a woman doctor was just as easy as going to Kimmel, which would you choose.
However, in practice it really depends on the time frame and conditions. If you go for years obsessed with castration but won't do it because it isn't a woman doctor, then that is definitely a warning that your obsession is a fetish about the act.
Overall I think the more telling statement is related to chemical castration -- if you're not willing to try chemical castration then you're getting castrated for the wrong reasons. It is pretty ridiculous to want something but be unwilling to try it out. Some people may try chem castration and have other problems with it (I had a lot of problems with the diuretic effect of Siterone for example), but at least I tried it.

Umm... Chemical Castration wouldn't have been a relevant option for me, and I'm very happy having no balls. Chemical Castration isn't a cure-all try out for this. If the guy is simply distressed that he has balls hanging from his crotch but is otherwise happy with being male, then chemical castration may not be a good indicator of if he truly wants it. My case is a perfect example of this. I didn't want balls, I like being male. For me Castration with HRT was the right solution and I'm glad I did it. I knew that one day not having testosterone at all is a possibility, but I was wiling to accept that.

Sorry we disagree. I don't see the simile in your wedding scenario at all. But, indeed, if someone was getting married just for the nice wedding I do think it would be for the wrong reasons.
This thread wasn't posed as an "with all things being equal" proposition in my reading of it. It was based on a proposal of IF a certain condition were met WOULD you then get castrated. My point was that, if, that is a condition upon being castrated it's being done for the wrong reason.
Sure, if a guy is GOING to be castrated anyways, and would prefer one way over another, and they have that option, they should do it the way they want. But, I maintain, that if it's a condition that must be met before they do it, then it's a bad idea.
Chemical castration is really on relevant for guys wishing to be castrated, and NOT have HRT. For a guy that has no desire to be a eunuch, and does not identify as a eunuch, chemical castration wouldn't be a test drive for anything.

I would gladly want her to at least remove one , and yes fantasy it may be but it would still be what I wish! And I would still have the other till the day its decided that it was time for it as well. I think I definetly need slowing down a bit lol! And people may not admit it but its always a fantasy until you make it a reality and all you can do is go by opinions unless you experience it yourself and you cant always get the best ideas from others who feel different on things than you think yourself.

Nice to read that I'm not alone in this issue. I am perfectly happy as a male, just unhappy with those swnging balls. Would be happy to hear how you are doing on hrt. My lady lover likes my balls as they are and waants me to keep them, but is open minded about my desires as long as we can still make passionate love.

Its definitely a positive incentive. I've always prefered female doctors anyway. But it would be even better if my lady were also a part of it. As a nurse, she's qualified, but she also on the side of keeping this fantasy in fantasy land.

In my case I'd say she has nothing to worry about if you get your balls taken off so long as you take HRT/Testosterone after. I still function as I did before I was castrated but now I am not distressed about those foreign objects hanging off my crotch.
Now if your lady friend is expecting you to give her an injection of potent sperm, then you'll probably not want to do it right yet.

I would be happy to have ANY doctor (male or female) castrate me if the price was right and there were no questions asked. I would even have my penis removed by the same. I just want it done. I have wanted this for a very long time. Someone hook me up with a doctor or if you know one, have them contact me at longrod01@yahoo.com I am in South Central Florida.
