After reading this, I'm genuinely starting to wonder just how low my T levels are naturally... because there's a lot of things you describe that I tend to feel naturally a lot. And especially the sex-drive thing. I very regularly go full weeks without doing or even caring about anything sexual, and don't even really notice it, and it usually takes me about 2 weeks before I have to start using willpower. That feeling of having no hurry, check. Not really feeling motivated a lot of the time, check. Things shrinking "down there," check. Hmm... I wonder. I really do wonder. And I'm only 26, so it's not like it's aging or anything.
It is - YMWV thing. And we are all different... There are even different sensitivities to same Testosterone concentrations. That is why "normal" is considered in so wide range - 200 - 1200 ng/L (was it right?) Like 5 time different results are considered to be normal.
When I was 26 things were even more crazy for me. I think the sexual drive peak was between 16-25 Once I got an orgasm just walking on the street and thinking too much about sexual things. Well, that was of course not a casual thinking, more like fantasizing. I was 22 I guess. And at times I was seriously worried that I could badly harm myself during my sexual plays. But thats me. I've heard that dirve can be much stronger. And people have actually harmed themselves. And have done regrettable and stupid things.
it is normally...on the beginning your t get higher..and in the second or third month your estradiol get higher and these lower your t ... after all your estradiol will fall and you have to take some estrogen-pills ... sometimes if you have androcur only...your t will raise for some days..your aromatase get higher and estrogebn will get higher... your lh\fsh will lower and you are the most of the time like castrated..... about 0.5 - 1 year your testicles will shrink maybe non-reversible....
After having high testosterone levels, my endocrine system regulated levels to rather low. Acne is gone almost and masturbation frequency has dropped from many times a day to few times a week. Very strange. I think I had few mild hotflashes even, few days ago, I wonder what is causing them? Hit the bottom and endocrine system forces testicles aggressively to produce more T?
It is now little more than 3 months since I stopped taking Androcur.
There is no joint pains anymore. It is gone. Nothing at all.
My sleep is back to normal. I can fall asleep at very odd places and times if I want.
My strenght is usual. Actually I don't notice it being there. I feel normal.
Me semen looks normal again. And amount is normal too. Have to check do these boys swim inside it too, or is there some noticeable abnormalities.
My erection hardness is really something I notice is increased a lot since I stopped taking androcur. Also erections themselves are frequent and regular every night and morning. It is strange to remember, that feeling not to wake up with raging erection. Very different.
Testicular athrophy has reversed. testicles do not feel soft anymore.
Also, some acne has returned along with dandruff and body odour.
As I have told already I did not have much depression nor great mood swings. There was some emotional tenderness but it was not so difficult to keep under control.
But that short period of trial is really too short. A month should be a minimum standard. While more than three months of trial could have already some permanent changes.
Why don't you use another agent rather than androcur - I've used DP any time I've done it (it's much cheaper than androcur), and it didn't cause mood swings or depression for me, nor a great drop in energy.
After quitting androcur my T levels got higher than normal after a onth and a half. Then it went back down than normal and continued to fluctuate for quite some time. Changes were slow and took time to notice them. What persisted for a long time were joint pains and muscular pains. I regained strength quite fast after quitting Androcur (in a month) but probably due to hormonal fluctuation I got muscle pains very easy. It took about a year to get past of constant muscle pains and painful joints.
It is again a clear sample of YMWV. (your mileage will wary)
I've been on Triptorelin since June, I have none of the things you mentioned you got during your short trial. Only thing I've got are hot flushes at night.
