I have noticed that I am more emotional then before and here lately I really have let go several times. I guess it goes with being a eunuch but thats ok. In here we are all family.

You know I can deal with the feelings of frustration, I can deal with the anger, I can deal with the crying... but the one that gets me is the one where you just don't know how you feel and you just become kinda nowhere. I was a very agressive person and an angry person. Overtime does that subside????? Gosh I hope so. It's something I want very much!!!!! Thanks again Scottie

This is another of those YMWV thingies. However, it seems that most eunuchs, over time, do lose much of that testosterone-induced male aggression. It may take a year or more for this to happen, but as Dr. Spector once wrote "In either the case of TS or eunuch, a deep calm serenity develops which, from then on, makes life far more worthwhile."

In my case, it has enabled me to work at the Post Office with greatly reduced levels of stress, and I no longer have road-rage incidents when driving the LA freeways.

My whole life has been focused on sex sex sex and females females females. I am wondering if this will go too. Just remember it may take some time for the changes to occur. As time goes on, you will be bothered less and less about thoughts and urges for sex, and will be IN CONTROL of your sexuality. Depending on age and other factors, you can still have sex and orgasams at intervals with a partner that pushes the right buttons in your brain.

The same with the aggressiveness and anger. It may take some time, but you will notice a slow decline in this part of your life.

SUGGESTION: Keep a diary, and note your sexual and aggressive thoughts. Keep track for a several months and see if you note a trend downward. I did this and can say the Eunuch Calm came at about 8 months. But I was age 56 at castration. It may take longer for younger eunuchs.

Just to add my two cents worth. I too was quite angry, very inclined to "go off" when I was riled, and that was easy to do.

Shortly after my castration, before I started HRT (which thank God I stopped again) I was often accused of having eunuch mood swings, but I think it was just me... I really didn't have mood swings any more severe than I've ever had.

Now I am really enjoying the eunuch calm, and my tendency to fly off the handle is very much reduced, and even when I do have fits of temper they are much less severe and followed within hours by remorse, so strong that I usually go out of my way to apologize to those affected.

As a total aside, I think I posted earlier this week that I'd had spontaneous erections that I cannot for the life of me understand. This morning I didn't have an erection at all, but I was curious... Not horny, but curious. So I attempted to get an erection and (Yeah, I was masturbating <BLUSH>) Things were starting to happen, I was about half hard, when suddenly, without warning, BAM! I had one of the most intense orgasms I have ever had in my life! It happened so suddenly I wasn't expecting it, was almost disappointed in many ways because it had happened so suddenly, before I was ready, before I felt the building I've always felt my entire life.

I don't know what's going on, but as far as I am concerned I am enjoying the best of both worlds: the calm, the lack of intensity and desire of a eunuch, but still functional.

Scottie, you are to be commended for your bravery. I hope things continue to go well for you, but I join the others in strongly recommending that you get those things off ASAP. Our bodies don't take kindly to having dead things in them.

Well, certainly in *my* experience, I have been a LOT more emotional since I was castrated. (e.g.) I can get tearful over stuff that wouldn't normally bother me!

Heck, Neoscrow will know - since I couldn't stop crying on the last night I was in Detroit! But maybe this was just because I've come to LOVE everyone here on EA, and didn't want to return to dull old England?

Whatever the case, I know my emotions *seem* to have a lot more impact in my life now. Kinda like having BOLD turned on in the word processor.

I am on Depo-Provera and several nights ago I woke up from what would have been a spontanious orgasm, except only a drop of semen came out. Even with non-functioning or absent testis you still have a prostate.

hi like madscientist i am also on depo provera the two things i notace becides erections is the calm and the love i now feel for people. it is going to be intersting thursday for the first time i get my shot at docters office . so far nurses are not sure about me thay have never heard of a man on pepo provera and it gets hard to explane some times

i want to be a eunuch i have for 10 yrs 2 months ago i hit my right ball with a hammer the pain was so bad i knew i had done damage i saw a dr told them i got hurt going over a fench it had to be removed i told the dr the truth and ask him to take both he would not do it got one ball left but not the money i would need to go to philly i would like to meet someone who could help me with a loan i am a skilled carpenter and could work it off also i would like to aculy meet a eunuch , shake his hand and have lunch or go to the movies anybody out there live around n e colorado thanks
