Just begun!

Post by modernist (imported) »

Hey, everyone

I've just begun a trial run of chemical castration. I'm on 100 mg of cyproterone acetate and 20mg of tamoxifen per day. I want to eventually reduce it to 50mg of ca when I start to feel the effects. This is my third day, so I haven't really felt much effect. I notice that erections disappear faster and I'm not quite as energetic as before, but considering I've never had much libido in the first place, I haven't noticed any difference there. I'm looking forward to erections ceasing altogether; that's one of the main reasons I'm doing this. Any ideas when I should start feeling the effects of this?

Best,

J.

You can deal it by your own way, this may stay for some time.

congratulations J.

have you taken any ' before " erect & flaccid measurements ?

timed how long it normally takes to J/O to orgasm ? in most cases your body will try to fight back and try to ' over-produce ' testosterone for 2-4 weeks before the testicles obey the meds and shut down testosterone production .

eat plenty of fruit to stay regular as some guys experience some constipation issues

Depending on your age, how healthy your balls are, how much testosterone they produce, it may take some time to notice significant effect.

I would suggest documenting your ability to have interest in sex, and ability to have sex once a week.

Waiting for the drug to take effect and watching yourself daily is like watching the grass grow.

Don't think about it but once a week.

In a couple of months you should see results.

I did the same regimen except I started with 200 mg of siterone and stepped it down every couple of weeks until i was down to 50. It took about 2 to 3 weeks to be fully impotent and another 2 weeks before I realized that my libido was fully suppressed. It's a gradual process and takes some time but it's a very effective combination of meds. The first thing I noticed was the lack of morning erections. Then it became difficult to maintain erection for more than a few seconds. Then all erections eventually faded. Good to see men taking control of their sex. Best of luck and keep us posted on your progress.

depending on your AGE it will take you somewhere between 2 weeks and 2 months before getting noticeable effects.

Hey all,

So I've never actually had an orgasm, so I can't gauge any difference there. I did notice a spike for a few days of erections and lewd thoughts, but those have been slowly fading, although I still can't resist looking at someone attractive, it's much more superficial than before. Still very far from impotent, though.
