Make sure you are allowing scripts, Java, and cookies. I get that now and then even though I know it's right.

In addition to what Paolo says above, also do remember to click the little "Remember Me" button.

This gives you more time to go get a coffee, let the dog out for a pee, spill coffee on dog, chase barking burned dog down and apologize to him, get another coffee, almost-sit-down-then-remember-the-dogs-still-outside, then click a story link (without being timed out).*
