Hot flashes come wih the drop in testosterone but they will eventually diminish in frequency and intensity and almost all new eunuchs will have them. Mine lasted four months post castration at a high level and then tapered off to none at all after a year.

Even with replacement hormones (T), I got hot flashes for about 5 years after cutting. I would imnagine re-adjusting to a lower level. My average is 550 ng/dl now, and has been so for years. And I am very sensitive to changes in temperature, just like those without T. Substitute T is just not the same as real T

I plan to be castrated surgically in a few months.

To avoid hot flashes it seems that the only solution is taking testosterone.

But if I take T my libido will not going to fall.

Thus if I want a libido reduction I dont have to take T.

But if I do not take T, I will have hot flashes.

And the snake bites itself the tail!

Then hot flashes are they difficult to endure and how long after the castration hot flashes disappear ?

In advance thank you very much for your replies.

For me hot flashes were a minor inconvenience. They were more of an annoyance than a problem. The people around me, however, got tired of me asking "is it hot in here?". --FLO--

Uncle Flo you are castrated since 5 years.

Have you still hot flashes?

If you do not have it more, when did they disappear?

My hot flashes went away after about one year. They got to be less as time went on. --FLO--

Thank you for your answer.

They thus disappeared without hormonal treatment.

I don't know how long before they go away. All I know is,that I get hot and then a shortly thereafter I am fine. It is the strangest sensation. Perhaps a low dose of Testosterone will help while still accomplishing your goal of castration.
