Addendum to my last post.

There are currently no new stories submitted, and ready for publication. Zero, zip, nada.

I suspect that a lack of feedback is disheartening more than a few folks. If you want the archive to continue you need to give the authors an incentive.

Your points are very good Cainanite, but I think that writing can still be done just as much for our own self satisfaction as much as anything else. If you google either of my two books you will not find a single review. Does that mean that I don't feel I got anything out of writing them? No. Does it detract from publishing again? No. That said, the EA numbers that view the story threads suggest greater reader interest, so I encourage those readers to step out of the shadows and like the authors, write. Authors appreciate feedback immensely. If you have something to say, please say it.

I've got a couple of parts of stories ready to go, but I'd ideally like to wait until the rating system is fixed before I post them. If it takes much longer, I'll probably just post anyway, but that's why I haven't sent anything in sooner even though they've been done for a couple of weeks now. Since I write as I go, the ratings are a pretty big deal to me since they help me know if I'm still going in the right direction or not. They're a form of feedback that I can count on receiving with every story, positive or negative. While usually people only post verbal feedback for stories that absolutely blew their freaking minds, which obviously doesn't happen often.

Reviews are gratifying...but I see that there are some star ratings for my first try at a story anyway, and that makes me feel pretty good too. I know that people are reading it, and apparently enjoying it. I'm glad for that.

Looks like you've been busy!

I am going to try and publish the weekly stories on Fridays from now on. I haven't had a real set schedule, but I think Fridays would be best for people to read the new submissions over the weekend. Prior to this, I just sort of waited until I had more than just one or two stories. Now, I think I'll try and be a little more consistent. What do you think?

I may try and add some of the late stragglers over the weekend.

Anyhow. Seeing as today is Friday, and I have new submissions.
