This is the unofficial announcement, as they are not published to the indexes yet. I will post a HUGE announcement when they are fully live on the site.

An enormous THANK-YOU! to the authors that submitted such polished works for our re-launch of the stories. You guys rock!

Please keep the new stories coming. I can't wait to read them. (We need more than just chapters of my own story to publish.)

I've got a series in the works but it's still in my head. I've not quite figured out how to write it well enough to keep interest while managing to save the main event until the last segment or next to last segment. *shrugs*

It's like I have it in my head, I can tell the story to myself quite clearly, but can't seem to get it to flow out of my fingers and into the computer.

You've hit the nail on the head there.

It is very difficult. Having simply the idea, isn't enough. There is a lot of effort, blood, sweat, tears, and sacrifice that goes into each and every story. If every idea for a story I ever had, made it to actually being written, I'd be more prolific than Stephen King.

Having an idea just isn't enough. It is incredibly difficult making it a reality. This is why it is so important to recognize the work that went into these stories being here at all. Every word you read, is a sacrifice someone made for it to be there.

Just because it looks easy, don't think for a minute that it ever is easy. Even though I'm currently unemployed, I still find it difficult to write. I find it difficult to find the time to edit. Sometimes I find it difficult just to find the time to do anything I want to do at all.

The current effort to bring the stories back, was a sacrifice. It should be recognized as such. People have jobs and lives, and other responsibilities that get in the way. It can be almost impossible to get an idea out of your head, and flowing through your fingertips.

11 new stories to read might look small, but it isn't. Those 11 stories represent a lot of personal sacrifice and effort.

It is an effort that deserves our praise and recognition.

While I was browsing the archive just now, in my "Random Stories" box, "How to Breathe - Chapter 11" just popped up, and it was listed as by you, Cainanite, added 6/02/2012. And yet when I looked for it in the alphabetical indexes, it wasn't there. I hope this wasn't an accident or something, as I'm really looking forward to reading more of that story. Are there really that many parts about to come online? And if so, is there any chance of getting them live on the indexes soon so that we can all read them?

If you're already aware of this, talula, then I'm sorry, I don't mean to pester you.

They'll show up live when I bump it over to talula for him to do it. I was away the last couple of days, and wasn't able to bump them to him.

How to Breathe is written in 25 chapters, a Prologue, Epilogue, Notes, and Afterword. My plan was to load a couple or three chapters a week, however, I goofed on some of the entries, and was left with empty stories. Rather than try and have empty files upload to the story archive, I filled them with some more of my chapters. I'm really not trying to dominate the story submissions, but as I didn't have a lot of stories to post, I used my own to correct my mistakes.

If you are enjoying the story, but cannot wait for me to publish them in order, send me a PM with your email and I'll send you the whole thing all at once.

I didn't intend for there to be so many of my own entries, but I goofed while editing, and created a whole bunch of blank files between First Boy 6 - Conclusion by C van D and Neutered Dog Fuckpig by GEGE.

Rather than mess the archive up, I filled the missing files with chapters of my book. I had intended to publish just 2 or 3 chapters a week, but oh well... the plans of mice and men.
