Story idea: All babies born male, females must be created (tag: minor)

This is an idea for a story that any author is free to do what they want with. Just post in this thread if you submit a story based on this anywhere.

The basic premise is that there is a world where all babies are born male. Obviously the species couldn't survive long like this, so males who are castrated (cock and balls completely removed) become fully female (quite Freudian in a way!), mentally and physically.

This only works before the boy starts puberty, around age 12.

A few baby girls are created by castrating boys almost immediately after birth, but this isn't very common.

Most girls are created about age 8-9, but castrations happen at all ages between birth and puberty.

I leave all the other details up to the author(s) who write the story.
