It is interesting your comment about 'just organized differently.' It is rare the person who honestly and truly looks at the world thru unbiased eyes. We model after ourselves and our world. Yet things do not have to be that way.
An example of a slightly different world is Australia. I have this from an Aussie I worked with. The geologic story is that Australia separated from other land masses before the development of mammals. What you see is evolution to fill all all the niches of life, just not by mammals.
Which brings me to my final logical point. River claims to be Mexican. That is a cover. He really is a eunuch marsupial.
