Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
I was going to post something else but the Saturday event is in Wisconsin about 20 miles outside of the twin cities.

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
Ignore the windy one. I am a Minnesotan although I was born in Florida and spent a lot of my childhood at the family home area, an island in Lake Superior. --FLO--

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
Pardon my Wisconsonian. I am a Wisconsinite. People who do not speak Wisconsonian are plausibly Wisconsonites, Wisconsonites do not live in Wisconsin. Wisconsinites live in Wisconsin.
If you are not a Wisconsinite, you may not know proper Wisconsonian language spelling.
There are transplants living in Wisconsin who are not fluent in Wisconsonian. How to tell Wisconsonites from Wisconsinites? Ask how genuine Wisconsinites spell the word?
Yes, when I graduated from high school, I was a temporary Minnesotan.
What qualifies me to speak Minnesotan? My mother's childhood was mostly in a home where the main language used was Svenskt.
In Minnesota, the genuine people are Minnesotans and their genuine language is Minnesotan.
In Wisconsin, the genuine people are Wisconsinites and their genuine language is Wisconsonian.
It is good to respect people's names for themselves and for their language.

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
Are they buried differently?
:-\
Darker and Deeper? Whose lutefisk is better?
Actually I liked my 2 years in Milwaukee but, I never considered Milwaukee
part of the heart of Wisconsin. The Winters are 20F warmer then Madison.
Good lake effect.
Talk about the language. Stumbling over those repetitive syllables in Indian names like
Wawatosa. After a year you can rattle them off pretty good.

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
Moi, people from this part of the world have the same problem with California and all the Spanish names,
Like San Janitco, or Tujunga the J has an H sound.

I am no longer Moi.
I am now "the Moi Trust". :-\
My new deed for my home came in the mail, retitled, "Moi Trust"

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
Lawyers and ungrateful relatives will get it if you do not make arrangements.
A Thai wife may pop up. It has happened in my recent life experience.
That was my motivation. I still have all rights and powers over the Moi Trust monies.
Just should Moi be no more <perish the thought of Moi perish>,
10% for perpetual pet care provider and divide the rest as specified.
Upfront money to the Lawyers now prevents Attorneys from getting ten to fifty times more later.

Re: Deepest, Darkest Thoughts
So old. So very old.
I remember cruising PCH between Newport and Huntington on a summer night listening to them on the radio.

Reunited 1960s pop band The Beach Boys have released a teaser track of their first new single in two decades - a dreamy, five part-harmony throwback to their southern California surf sound called "That's Why God Made the Radio."
The song will be the first single off an album of new material on which the band has been working ahead of their 50th anniversary tour, which kicks off on Tuesday.
So old.
