Moving from chemical castration to surgical castration

Apologies for the crossposting, but I've been chemically castrated for 13 years and I'm now transitioning to surgical castration and I have some questions about the likely hormonal effects of moving from goserelin (zoladex) to simply having no gonads.

I've posted the following threads in the Surgical Castration forum, but wanted to make sure people who've researched chemical castration were aware of them too.
