You might have to take a tweezer and pull them out. They should come right out as they will have disolved on the inside. You dont want to leave them in as they can become a point of infection.

The first few stitches broke at the knot and slipped right out, believe me I've tested the others with a pair of tweezers and no dice.....

I'm a retired Paramedic so I have some familiarity with what should be happening and that's why I've asked Dr. Arnkoff, they may need to be clipped on one side and pulled out but I'm not going to do that without his thoughts on the issue. I do however appreciate your concern, suggestion and I'll let you guys know what he says about the remaining stitches.

Three weeks after my castration and when my doctors were sure that my penis would survive even though it was damaged to the extent that Iwould never again get an erection or orgasm the question of testostereone injections was raised. That I was not only a Eunuch but my penis was forever useless was a shock to the system. I would not be the injections for another three weeks when healing would be complete. I never noticed much change in my sex drive in the interval but was starting to have some hot flashes, not very frequent maybe five per day. I was too sore to attempt anything sexual. I would say that for three weeks to six weeks after surgery there is some change but it sort of creeps up on you gradually. I was then put on bi-weekly injections of Testosterone. This nearly sent me out of my mind with continuous sexual tension, desire and total frustration with no method of release. The change was such that I became aware of the fact that I had lost most of my libido without noticing it much before the injections. After eight weeks if my memory is correct,I stopped all hormome treatment. Within a matter of a few days as if somebody just turned off a switch I had zero sexual desire and started hot flashing evey two hours or so. The hot flashes thankfully diminished rapidly and ceased completely within the year. I lost a lot of muscle mass and developed small breasts but with a strict training regime my stamina has never diminished. Definitely wihin that timeframe all sexuality will be a memory unless one wishes to revive it with T. I have no doubt that had I satayed off the T. I would have become assexual much sooner. If your penis cannot respond do not take T. as the frustration will drive you crazy. I am happily now on a different hormone regime. Every eunuch needs to be aware of the risk of bone density loss and take steps to prevent it.
