The post counter on the Avatar

Well, I do go on sometimes, but I think that the post counter is retarded, has a poor memory or perhaps both.

Of course, there have been many crashes and such, so there may be a good excuse.

It seems to me that the dammed thing never has worked right, though.

So, do not rely upon it.

The problem with the post counter was with the crash about a month ago, where the board had to be recoved from an old backup.

Originally before the crash the post counter showed the number of post from the new vBulletin software plus the number of post from the OLD UBB software that was replaced last October.

The post counter now only shows total number of posts that a user has made under the vBulletin software.

I hope this helps clearify things up for you.
