The vitriol is just too much over a couple threads. Behavior way below our better angels. And we know it in the present tense.

Yes I like a good, mental discussion, probably more then most.

What can I say, I am sick and tired of reading, "hate"!

Yes, HATE!

The herd has no sense of shame when things just go too far!

Now anyone can make any rude or obscure or funny to them only upload. I will do my best to ignore it.

Moi, my better angles would never allow me to water board anybody, ever. In my heart I believe in the good in people however life has taught me that not all people are good, he is one of those, but IF there is a god, (which I doubt) and he meets the man as we all will (if you believe in that sort of thing) I can see St. Peter telling him to go to hell.

Others showing similar compassion for Cheney:

Joan Rivers: Rather surprised Dick Cheney got a heart after lasting all these years without one.

Albert Brooks: Dick Cheney gets a new heart! Not to be confused with compassion.

Ian Black: I guess Dick Cheney finally had a change of heart.

Salman Rushdie: Confused by news of Dick Cheney's heart 'transplant.' That implies he had one before.

I'm not Jesus f**king Christ. Neither are you. You judging us for not being Jesus Christ makes you as bad as us.

I reserve my compassion for those who have not proven unworthy, and you and anyone else who has a problem with that want can like it or lump it.

I am half a world away and have not met you, but from reading your posts over the years it appears that anger and confrontation are not working out that well as principals to live your life by.

So you read my posts which takes... a few minutes each day, do you see the other sides of me, when I'm doing other things? In my other moods? Were you witness to how by confrontation, I exposed a military coverup of a murder? Not going to question what you've done with your life, but I will question what you know of what I've done with mine and where I am.

Don't assume, the cliche goes: it makes an "ass" of "u" and "me".
