I mean really Moi, why do you care what time system we use, you don't get up until past noon no matter what system is used.

Because it is there to care about, and someone has to.

but, butt, ( )0( ) Moi, if you really cared about day time hours you would get up before the sun is half gone. I know what it really is, you loose an hour of sleep.

It is easier to fall asleep after some hours of darkness.

Easier to wake up after some hours of light.

DST is an attack on our sleep cycles.

I cannot figure how fhunter and more polar members manage in the extreme solstice times.

Ever see Al Pacino, Robin Williams and Hillary Swank in the movie, Insomnia (2002).

moi,

buy an island and set up your own rules. Or, you could find that farm that Charles Manson lived on and set up a "time commune"

...time isn't really real, anyways. Einstein said that he could never understand it all so what chance do the rest of you have?

Sometimes they do something right. It is always when they go beyond their mandate they create problems.

Still, I do not grant my State, my County or my City the latitude to manipulate my clock. There is still a reservoir for personal freedoms no matter who drought stricken it looks.

Moi

FREEDOM!

For the individual from his city.

For the city from its' county.

For the county from its' State.

For the State from the Federals.

FREEDOM = 1 / Domination

Feel free to set your clock to 11:00 even if the rest of us think it's 5:00. That's your right. Frankly I'm going to be a conformist on this one. It makes life much easier.

Typing slowly. ;) <Imagine a quiet voice, not soapboxing>

Standard is standard.

Not express, special savings, just standard.

I just do not understand why I should quietly individualize my time because the government at any level chooses to social engineer any time beyond, standard.

Standard(s) are a government function. Not Supra Standard(s)! Or Uber Standard(s).

Consider the evolution of it all.

Like having to separate your garbage, not in my Freedom loving City. But Irvine you do.

So it evolves -

How many items in a government dozen during Autumn?

How about a metric dozen?

The Standard dozen is 12 items, except for bakers.

Standard is best not messed with. In space or especially, Time. <Twilight Zone music>

Moi

Doesn't anyone love FREEDOM more then I do on Board?
