Strange email recieved.

Hi all,

As many of you know, I am a regular visitor and frequent poster on threads on the site. That is why I was SOOOO surprised to receive an email from [email protected] advising me that it had been nearly a year since I had visited and that my membership was about to lapse. I am not sure what the reason for this is. It did not provide any member details, so I can't say if it might be a glitch related to when the site left BME support or what its about. Just wondering if anyone else got a similar email, specially after the unavailability of the site over the weekend.

I'm thinking it's an email that went out to everyone, whether that person has been regularly logging on or not. I got one too, and I probably log on every day.

We all got that email.

No worries. If you log in more than once a year (which we do) then you are golden.

My primitive reptile brain worried about it for about 5 seconds before my logic told me I was fine. Didn't stop me from logging in right away though.

With the traffic we're seeing these last couple of days, I think a lot of people had the same idea. It was a great reminder that we're still here.

I should add another chapter to this. I responded to said email, and as of today, it still has not been delivered. I am getting notices from my Outlook, that it has been unable to deliver the email.

I aLSO RECEIVED THE EMAIL ABOUT LOGGING IN OR LOSE IT..... DID"NT UNDERSTAND UNTIL READING THIS.
