On depo provera for 14 days now

I took one 150mg if depo provera, then waited until the next day before using the other 150mg vial, and it's been 14 days since. Should i be noticing something by now? I maybe notice a small drop in libido, but not like I had hoped.

I know with me it took over a month to notice. It is somewhat gradual, but at some point you say "I have arrived."

Check in the forums. Most do one shot a week for the first four weeks then monthly thereafter.

some references say as much as 450-600mg per week. I use about 450mg every other week. It will take about 4-6 weeks for the full effect.

Well, I think it was working, but it was so gradual I hardly noticed. The other day I was on the supermarket and saw a young Asian girl who usually would have stimulated my sexual desire, but this time there didn't seem to be any.

But I had some strange health things, that may be side effects. A weird dark mark appeared on my front tooth, i sprained my back which just doesn't happen, and I have a strange unexplained bruise on my hand. Yet I'm still continuing with the provera, because the relief from not having burning lust most the time, and with less OCD symptoms, and more calmness, is just amazing. And finally I can please my Lord by looking at a woman without lust in my heart.

When I first started on Depo, my T levels were 875. Unbelievable sex drive which was in the way of my life.

I began with 2 injections the first week, one on Sunday, the other on Wednesday. I had the T levels checked and had dropped to 750. Nothing significant. I continued with 2 injections per week for one month finally getting them down to around 400. I did one per week for 2 weeks, then 2 injections for one week and back to one per week. After six weeks the T levels finally hit around 200. Then the same regimen the next month. After the two month period I finally hit 100 and was so relieved. I noticed there were no more erections.

Now, I monitor the T levels and they are over 175 or so, then 2 injections. The lowest I have had was 75.

At this point, I cannot get an erection. If I am totally relaxed and concentrating I can get some blood to the member but nothing significant enough to cause a full-fledged erection, and it will only last for the most two minutes. After that, it's impossible to even get to that point.

Do I miss the sex drive? Yes and no. I miss the days when I could have what I wanted, but I don't miss the interference of sexual frustration in my life. Would I go back if given the choice? No!

I am now pre-pubescence, and if my T levels reach 175, I take two injections until they are below 100.

How is the Dep working a year later? Are you still on it? I am happy with mine. Seven years now. I recommended more frequent injections for a young friend of mine on the directions of an RN. Basically, 450 mgs per week for the first month, then weekly 150 thereafter. His T levels went from 950 to 100 and he is now pre-pubescence. He couldn't be happier.
