How much T to take and what else?

Hi all as you know I had my op 18 days ago and was put on testim gel 50mg in 5g it works very well in fact to well I had a morning erection for 4 hours the other day and several throughout the day, yes I still want them and still want some sexual feelings but not like this I cut the gel in half 2 days ago so taking around 25mg to see what happens, my only consern is that I was told by the doctor one tube was a start and I may need two not the other way round, am I getting enough for the other medical problems castration cause? My wife has said i was better when not on the gel and a lot less argumentative even when my nuts were almost dead I could still get an erection but had to work at it when I wanted it and there were no morning or in the night ones and I felt calm .

Also should I take any other meds I have read about vitamin B12 is it worth it and what else should I think about?
