To me the idea of living forever has it's own creepiness. I mean can you imagine how boring it would get? Ion after ion, never to end? Nothing is ever settled? Living until time itself comes to an end?

Not me!

However, I remember my father telling me the day Armstrong landed on the moon what a great life he had had, all the things he had seen, looking back at what my father saw, and what I have seen in my life time, yes, I would sure love to see whats next, I remember when PC's came out, they were a toy not a real computer, I worked with real computers, today PC's are more powerful then the first ones I worked on by a factor of thousands. So yes, I would love to live forever, man will not always live on this planet, there is a whole universe out there to explore, I would never ever be board.

I don't know about that admittedly I am still rather young but I think I could find ways to amuse myself forever, and if it ever gets to boring or painful I am confident I could find a way to get around immortality and end it.

Think of everything you could do with immortality, the books you could read the places you could see, the things you could build and accomplish.

If you couldn't make those you love immortal it would be rather painful to watch one after another die but if immortality is possible it will likley be repeatable.

I'll settle for seeing those who've wronged and discriminated against or been responsible in any way for discriminatory attitudes towards me, die before I do.
