Ok, I partly remembered, partly found that through wikipedia, partly calculated myself:

1 mol = 6.022e23 molecules

Gross formula for testosterone: C₁₉H₂₈O₂

Molecular mass: 288.42

So, 1 mol of testosterone == 288.42 grams.

0.8 nano mol/l

0.8 nano mol/l * 288.42 g/mol = 230.736 nano gram / L = 23.0736 ng/dL

I just realised I should've told Wolfram Alpha it was nmol/L of testosterone in blood, or else it can't calculate mole mass! It still doesn't manage to get all the way, but does say it's 0.231 micrograms, which matches your result:

And from there you can ask 0.231 micrograms / litre in nanograms per dL and get 23.1 ng/dL, matching your conclusion:

Don't know, some things are faster to calculate by hand. (Ok, I was interested in chemistry waay back, while I still was in school).

PS. I do not remember javascript well enough, to write a simple page for conversion, so if needed, that would be tomorrow and with a manual in hand.
