I am starting on a course of hormones (casodex & Lupron) for treatment of prostate cancer. Prior to this happening I have been oriented to being a service submissive to certain woman in my life. I do chores around yard and home and generally try to be helpful and supportive. I worry that the elimination of testosterone will make me less submissivly oriented.
I wonder if anyone with similar life experience can share insights with me.
Thanks

Re: Newbie question about submission
If you receive sexual stimulation while being subservient you may lose interest. If you do it to be helpful and supportive you should still enjoy it. I guess it depends on your motivation.

Re: Newbie question about submission
I can tell you this:
I was a sub for 10 years.
While on Depo provera, ( 300 mg , one time dose )
I have lost totally any interest.
Its have been 75 days now and though libido is back ( some days 100% , some days 60%) I am still not what I used to be. I masturbate only twice a week now ( used to be 1-2 times a day )
Havent seen a mistress in 75 days and when thinking about it , its for 5-10 minutes and just it
No more sudden urges.. ( or obsession )
Dont know how long it will still last but I can tell you this:
I am better off...
Within a week of castration you will loose interest so it will not be an issue any more.
If I wasnt married , would go permanently on depo.
Good luck!

Re: Newbie question about submission
Hm, that's very interesting... In some way I experienced something pretty similar to bman2000's story.
I also injected myself with 300 mg of DP only once. Afterwards I suffered from severe side effects, especially shortness of breath and massive sweating, which made me somewhat afraid of hormone treatments.
Interestingly, since then I somehow have lost almost all interest in (chemical) castration. My libido is also reduced in comparison to before these shots, and I also used to be a submissive towards women and a fetishist.
This was about six months ago. Although I still do possess my fetish wear, I haven't used it since then. Also, I haven't seen a single dominant woman since then; I have completely lost interest in these things.
Instead, I came to finally understand about and accept my homosexual side. I started dating men, and by now I have been together with my first boyfriend for about two weeks (Of course I used to be a bisexual before, but I never even considered a relationship with a man - somewhat funny especially when considering that I often stumbled upon hints towards this direction, but always just ignored them. Don't want to go too much into detail here, though.).
All in all, I am now as happy as I was practically never before, and I must say that the quality of my life has improved greatly. Actually I really can't tell whether this has something to do with the hormone shots - or with something else I experienced about a month before I placed these shots, when I used to live in London, UK: I use to call it the "commercialization of kink" - It made me pretty depressed and sad when I saw and experienced what happened to BDSM and stuff there.
Anyways, I think that this posting isn't helpful at all, but instead raises far more questions than it answers. But since I feel such a strong coincidence between bman2000's and my story, I thought it would be a good thing to share it after all.
Cheers
Patrick
