Isn't interesting how few people who post in the archive chatroom have a profile under the same nick in the EA profiles? Wonder why that might be.

For the most part, the people that go to the chat room do not come to the message board and the people who frequent the message board do not go to the chat room. i think the chat is more fantasy oriented. Many come to the chat for the sole purpose of masturbation.

I avoid the chat area because I tend to write novel length responses to things. I can't trim down all the things I have to say.

Add to that, I am a slow typist, and the chat room doesn't really work for me.

If people are only going there to masturbate... well I'm not much interested in that sort of online activity. With my low libido, and slow typing speed, the other party would get pretty bored with me if I tried.

I HAVE checked out the chat site, but I don't think I have much to offer it. The forums remain more my speed.

I tried out the chat area approximately 15 months ago and it didn't do it for me (not that I was looking to masturbate lol - not that there's anything wrong with that). I am a message board boy.

I have found some very nice people in the chat room. Several I have carried on in other venues. I think the chat is like many other things in life, you get out of it what you put into it. Comparing life styles and events has been the topics for the most part and after several years on EA I have yet to have any chats that would induce masturbation.
