Why does the Winter Solstice come too early?

I love sunset before 5 PM. Black dark nights by 6 PM.

Morning does not come too early too. But, that is all gonna change.

While we can, Happy Winter Solstice River and those who recognize its' significance.

May your Yule Log burn well past sunrise.

As a druid I love the winter solstice, Yule, the tree, everything that goes with it. Not to be confused with what the Christians took for their own.
