The Androcur is easy to order and I had relatively quick delivery of it (and I live in Australia). So hopefully you can order some and raise your dosage to 100mg soon.

Yeah, I know those sites, but I live in Estonia, for some reason the customs is highly vigilant here, so I wouldn't like to take my chances with them (fines can be pretty high). Besides, it's considerably cheaper here to purchase stuff legally, i.e. with prescription, which can give a 50% reduction in the price. So I have to rely on the understanding of my doctor.

Well, I haven't done any better than a steretypical number of cats lives.

Nine pills is all I have lasted. The one good thing is that I don't feel too embarrassed by that, even if perhaps I should. Not being so hard headed these days does allow me to not make things too hard on myself I reckon, though the jury is out as to whether or not this is more a positive or a negative.

It was just for a period of around 3 days when I felt a bit manic. I think that there was slight depression from the drugs, which is compunded further by the fact that I tend to masturbate more when I'm depressed - AND the drugs were doing bugger all to reduce the activeness of my snake.

Then again, there is every chance that just being patient for another fortnight might have bought about desired results, though I realise now that it's not just about that.

It is about being single and being scared. It's also about feeling like I have options. I never felt that way 2 years ago when I started with this.

Does anyone on the EA have experiences with trying to be on depressants whilst single and whilst being in a relationship? And does it get significantly easier with the latter?

As well as the slight depression (mainly it was totally freaking out after more porn viewing got my parents computer a virus, and even after buying another protection thingy I was struggling to get it fixed; plus I was lonely 2 nights ago at a night club), I read an old writing piece on a site called everything2, which has heaps of great writing (I used to read it a lot in about 2009, but then forgot about it or just lost interest), and was reminded of it when going through some old saved webpages the other day. It was called Love The One You Don't Need, and spoke of trying for wants in your life rather than needs. I have long targeted the opposite. Some of the points seemed to make sense, and have had an influence in the past week.

So I have put myself back on facebook as a single (though I've been single for the past 2 months), poked my original sweet heart, been somewhat rejected (but with my non needyness I haven't fainted towards the floor as a result of that) following my written request for her to see me, and then followed that up with a lovely story (I still have my nerdyness!) to her, which I'm sure she'll love.

It's my 2nd day back on anti-depressants, and yes, I am feeling much better - at least just now (that's kinda funny, just been rejected by my original sweetheart and I feel good; yay!). That don't mean that I'm putting a never ever on Androcur again. In fact I'd be awfully surprised if I don't swallow another one of those pills. But when/if I do, I think it will be a double shot - 100mg, and try to get that effect on my sex drive happening quicker.

I feel a bit sheepish posting this, but I feel better, and just now that's more important.

I just bought two packages of Androcur (legally), will now raise the dosage to 100 mg a day. I hope this will be enough for me to curb my libido.

That's terrific news Jorge.

And great minds think alike. 100 mg dosage is the way to go :-)

I've been taking 1 tablet twice day i.e. 100 mg / day for over a week now, and unfortunately I have so far no effect at all :( I will take 100 mg for another week, and if it still won't work I'll temporarily up the dosage to 150 mg/a day. Which means I'll eventually run out of supply, but perhaps once I've attained the effect, a smaller dosage will do.

I have been on CA and DP for years. My T count varies from 20-35. I take only 25mg CA daily and 300mg DP every other week. No problems Works for me!

I think you will need to give it a lengthy trial. I'm talking a number of months. But yeah, going to 150mg is a good idea.

And try to stay positive, like I am. If you GREATLY desire to remove your sex drive then do not give up.

These things take a while, but work just fine. I forget what dose of siterone I took before I had myself surgically castrated but it had my T level down around 75. I believe the post castration level is more like 35, but I noticed no difference after my testicles were removed.

I've just finished my third week with 100 mg/a day. Fortunately I've seen some reduction in sex drive (though not satisfactory yet). Interestingly, physical changes seem much more pronounced: when I masturbated yesterday (after almost a week without masturbation), I had some trouble getting erect and the ejaculate was watery and small in quantity. So I seem to have noticeable reduction in spermatogenesis which however has not been coupled with radical reduction in sex drive. I will continue with 100 mg/a day for one more week and if I still don't feel the sexual urges have subsided to a manageable level, I'll raise the dosage to 150 mg for one week.

I've been taking Siterone for a bit over a month now and it's working pretty well for me at 100mg/day - although I did cheat about a week into the start of this because I had some leftover Androcur from years ago, enough for one week's dose and briefly upped to 200mg/day, maybe a bit overkill? But the results are nice, no particular libido right now and erections aren't much of a problem nor is masturbation so interesting anymore :)

It did make me tired initially but I'm fine now and I seem to be over any depression.

From what you've described, it seems that that's working about as well for you?
