Maybe not quite an epipitude but, quite an experience.

Had Der Weinerschnitzel Chili Dogs on the mind for the longest time, so I gave in and got some Friday.

(And like the next day, the founder died, no not that experience)

Well, as my order was being prepared I walked over to a hardware store I don't like and walked through their garden area where they had a few trees. This one peach tree was loaded with peaches and was only $30. I left it being a snob for pricier Nursery stock. Then the peach tree was on my mind all weekend and today I went back and found it still there. Having purchased it, it now sits still in its pot but in a shallow hole waiting to be planted.

I think that peach tree and I are going to be friends.

I still don't like that hardware store. Lousy staff.

Have you noticed that SNL just isn't funny no more.

Sure the news and cameo appearances are fun but for the most part,

Not Funny.

Consider, Chevy Chase has not been funny either since his successful rehab. Yes he is alive and rich.

Paramount is to make SNL funny again.

Maybe if we all chipped in a little in substance or dollars to fund the writers' drugs;

SNL would be funny again.

Send substance or donations to the writers.

Interesting. I sometimes tell people that I am old enough to remember when Doonesbury, the Tonight Show, & Saturday Night Live were all funny.

You are dating yourself, I guess I remember that too, have not watched any of them in recent years, they are no longer funny.

Was there a "Dating Game" show where the contestants ended up dating themselves?

Would you "put out" on your first date?

...give yourself a "good night" kiss?

...if you were a rapist would you rape yourself?

Do you remember the 'Dating Game" where they 'hooked' this guy who turned out to be a serial killer with some woman?

VIDEO... CREEPY!!! (

"...father found him in the darkroom at age 13 fully developed..."

Scary epiphany... (http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/03/08/dat ... index.html)

"He was quiet, but at the same time he would interrupt and impose when he felt like it," Mills said. "And he was very obnoxious and creepy -- he became very unlikable and rude and imposing as though he was trying to intimidate. I wound up not only not liking this guy ... not wanting to be near him ... he got creepier and more negative. He was a standout creepy guy in my life."

Within months of his "Dating Game" appearance, Alcala would become a killer, prosecutors said, abducting and murdering a 12-year-old girl in 1979. Before the decade was over, Alcala would claim four more victims, according to testimony at his trial.

CNN asked noted crime profiler Pat Brown to analyze Alcala's appearance on "The Dating Game."

"He was aware that he could say things that were considered sexy and funny and the girl would like that," Brown told CNN. "He watched the game and he gave those answers and he won, so he learned some tricks. But a psychopath's true nature comes seeping through.

"When you go back and look, what's most fascinating is that he had already committed a crime," Brown said, "Raped a little girl. Here is a man portraying himself as a desirable young man when he is a violent sexual predator of children."

...here's the thing. Watch the video. She is damned near as scarey as HE is... 😄

Overturn

Wickard v Filburn

📢

Over turn it because it violates our Constitutional Rights.

It represents a fine example of Federals promoting Federals propping up Federals until they are no longer Federals but, Centrals.

The last time I had a

"What the hell is that?" experience, I concluded it was a slime mold.

It looked like puke. The puke spread for a day or two, then dried, then released dust whenever sprinkled.

The current, not yet concluded "What the hell is that" experience from my back yard -

a brown, dark brown hemisphere of fungus with 1"-11/2" diameter swirls like brain but in a swirl pattern. It just appeared in my "onion" garden box and I transplanted it. 6"-8" total diameter. About 5" high but, like a half globe in shape.

Ideas 💡 💡

Speaking of "slime molds", has anyone here ever heard of a type of bread called Sheepherders? Nine guys out of ten in chat have never heard of it. I've eaten it for decades in California.
