Oh. Forgot something. Every computer I have has an effective and efficient "DELETE" capability.

Mea summa culpa? Forgot to mention something else.

My Digital Equipment LSI-11 computer system (yes, it is in working condition)

DELETE capability. Likewise, the Heathkit H89 computer with its Z67 ten megabyte hard disk drive. (Remember when a ten megabyte hard disk drive system cost $5995?) Who else here still uses Magic Wand as a word processor?

Ain't hypo-hypo-hypo-mania simply grand, given that it is substantially identical to euthymia?

Nope got rid of all that old stuff years ago, its great that it still works but the problem is it does not work with anything else. There is a reason to upgrade and stay current with technology, if you don't the things you prize the most will at some point be unavailable then what?

I saw this in business, I worked for a bank and one division had a manager that never wanted to upgrade to anything, everything he had worked so leave him alone. Two things got him, the first was a new program that we needed to download on all his PC's about 50 of them, he was using Explorer 3, we were on 7, the software we had to install did not work. So we had to upgrade every PC first.

The second thing that happened to him is his main frame disk drive crashed. He found a company in the Twin Cities that could retrieve the data for him so he wanted a fast turnaround so he sent it air freight, I remember the day well it was 9/10/01. He was down for three weeks. My boss put in a new machine in on week 4, actually we put the new machine in our building and from then on his department only had PC's in them linked to the mainframe in our building.

Keep your old cars, etc but use new ones.

I keep some old Yoli PM's too. :)

She was one of a kind.

A-1 still: Per the EA Board - Ah- hum,

"A-1 has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space."

And this is what he missed on a one to one.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

"This illumination had to be saved until you had PM Box space.

๐Ÿ™‡ it is, don't y'think?

Communist/Socialist factories owned by government

Fascist- Factories privately owned at the expense of the people.

Civil Right curtailed

Corporationism-Factories owned privately at the expense of the people. Full Civil Rights as long as you are not deemed unacceptable like braining a non violent demonstrator in Chicago '68 or Oakland '11,

Privatized Profits for Krupp Steel of Germany and Wall Street,

Socialized losses.

Does that make any sense to you? ?

"The truth is before you like the pieces of a puzzle. It is all a matter of how you assemble them to create your truth." Garak, DS9

:)

PM is the most effective manner to tap A-1's brilliance. PM A-1 and witness his replies are not like his uploads, hardly. They are generally representative of some smarts.

Oh, that's right, you can't PM A-1 ;)

River, can't you just access his box and delete his Yoli collection ๐Ÿ˜„

moi,

...you crazy old ass, you!

I had somebody here not UNLIKE Yoli, we used to go back and forth about things sexual and so forth...

Hell, I STILL DON'T KNOW gender this person was... I didn't really mind... just so long as We didn't have to meet in the flesh...

SO, this is the 64k question... HOW DO YOU KNOW YOLI WAS REALLY A FEMALE, AND HOW DO YOU KNOW SHE IS NOT STILL HERE POSTING UNDER ANOTHER NAME?

The $.069 answer... YOU DON'T. River could tell you by looking up the I.P. numbers, but I bet he won't do it...

I would not if I was River...

O.K., I took all of your old P.M.'s out of my INBOX and DUMPED THEM now so you should be O.K. to harass me for another round...

It does not matter what the reality of Yoli is.

I am content to accept Yoli as 'landa from Espania.

Her shared adventures were fun and her private support without being insipid mucho appreciated while I was psych nurse 24/7 with crazy wife. Her story stayed consistent over the years. If she was fiction, she must of had files like a devout Trekkie to keep track to her story.

I thought she only PM'ed with MacWolf and Moi. Now I think less of her. ๐Ÿ™„ Never!

She was an asset to the Board. I know all did not appreciate her.

Moi

I also miss our working class heroes, Blaise and Streetglide.

You know, memory problems, it is the best disease: no pains, and news every day ๐Ÿ˜„. I just forgot to look on the message counter.

PS. I archived the contents of the inbox, so it is clean now.
