Well, its now been 7 months sense my Orchiectomy, I still feel Great! No Regrets at all. I have been able to loose 18 lbs in the past 2 months, I can ride more than 100 mile on my bicycle on the weekends with no issues, I have had my BP Meds reduced, from 3 different types to just one type and that is also down from 4 pills a day to just 2 a day. I hope with the loss of more weight in the coming months to reduce those to 0 and remove the Cholesterol meds as well. And all of this with NO T. Life's good!

Wow, inspiring, and clever :-) How long did it take for your swelling to completely subside?

Sooo awesome! Congratz! Do you feel it's affected your state of mind at all? Is it easier to focus on distance cycling now without T in your system?

Swelling after the surgery? I never really had swelling, I just took it easy for 2 weeks after the surgery and everything has been good. it was almost a None event for healing.

There are times I can clear my mind, but it seems to be only when things are going well at work, but when there is stress at my office. I seem to have issues clearing my mind.

While the actual anniversary date of my orchiectomy is the 20th of October, I feel that today "Thursday" being the actual day of the week that my surgery happened I feel that a short update is in order.

After a full year of being a eunuch I wish to report that the first year has been perfect, not a single regret or reservation.

I've been able to loose about 25 lbs. in the past 8 months while its not been easy I have done it.

I can ride 50-60 or more miles on my bicycle any day I wish, I have even done 100 in a single day, it feels great to be able to do it.

I have noticed that I am a bit calmer and things take a bit longer to upset me, but I'm not a overly calm person, I still can get angry.

I've been having some hot flashes in the evenings when the weather is warmer out, I'm trying a new approach to reducing them. "Ground Flax Seeds" I've only been on them a few days so no real change there, I will post when I know more about that.

All in all becoming a eunuch has been a good thing for me.

If anyone has questions for me feel free to send them to me in a message or on the EA chat I am there most evenings between 6:00pm and 9:30pm Pacific Time.

Just a quick update, I received my latest blood test results today, every thing is in the normal range, but my T level is 8.9, this makes me very happy.

That is extremely low. What did the doctor recommend? Do you get hot flashes exercising?

Same for me. Two weeks after surgery and I was pretty much healed. I wonder if the lack of TRT has an effect on concentration during times of stress. Does it inhibit your ability to focus on certain things?
