Antidepressants and breast growth
So I am a MTF with some anxiety problems. I have been on a couple different antidepressants and I like to take the time to research the different side effects. I found that some antidepressants can cause breast growth. At first I thought this was crazy and couldnt be true but with more research some articles say that certain antidepressants greatly increase prolactin levels which is the hormone that causes lactation and breast engorgement. I partially thought this was amazing because I have never heard of it and from what I can tell, especially on this forum, when someone wants breast growth they will do just about anything to get it. So, my question is, has anyone taken antidepressants and then noticed that their breast grew or lactated, purposefully or not?

Re: Antidepressants and breast growth
I took Prozac for over ten years and have been taking Cymbalta for eight years, both of them SSRI anti-depressants. Unfortunately, neither of them caused any breast development. On the other hand, estrogen has been a fantastic anti-depressant AND wonderful breast growth stimulant.
